Miscellaneous insights inspired by discussion with fellow human beings using social media (facebook) ... work in progress.

theme: The human species is a social species and depends for survival on compassion (a function of psychological, moral or 'spiritual' development).   Complete spiritual development allows for the intuitive insight necessary for accurate evaluation of the social environment. We need to understand our social and political problems in terms of the ill effects of social conditioning which inhibits complete psychological development.

Topics:  children, the human family, evolution of humanity,  what is reality? religion as belief, religion as connection with our true nature, morality, education as cultivation of creative intelligence, liberty as self-ownership, problems of world due to misdirected education of children, antisocial personality, freedom...

Insanity and idiocy of fear based politics... We can reverse the process with wisdom and compassion for our fellow human beings. Raise standard of living everywhere and create conditions for complete psychological, moral or 'spiritual' development.  Population declines naturally. What we need is universal education for cultivation of the human potential for creative intelligence i.e. 'holistic education'.

Children:

Children are the future... so offer them an education based on their developmental needs so that they can realise their potential for creative intelligence.

We need to respect children's aspirations and move away from the linear industrial model of education which hampers their development. Instead, we need to move toward the non-linear organic model of personalized education which cultivates their ntelligence and fosters their potential.

Children do not become integrated adults... human beings with the human attributes of empathy and  compassion  oand integrity… attributes of humanity… unless provided with an education which is conducive to their complete psychological development.Ph

If children are manipulative it means they are not getting the right kind of attention which they need to grow spiritually. Maybe the society is permissive in the sense that it is neglectful of children’s needs for complete psychological needs.

Treat young people with respect as peers, as intellectual equals, not as inferior beings... The impact can be very positive. and t he result energizing and enjoyable for teachers and students alike.

Let children cultivate their own intelligence, respect their right to think for themselves,  discuss the issues with them and acknowledge their thoughts and opinions.

Respect for universl human rights includes respect for children's rights... the right to education with freedom for growth to maturity through learning which is  meaningful because it engages character development... education for the personality as a whole is 'holistic education'.

We need to understand the importance of love and respect for children as they grow and develop into mature adults of conscience.

Arrested psychological development:

So-called 'evil', the destructiveness of human thought and behaviour is a function of distorted development originating in punishment and abuse of children.

           "The unloved hate..."(Chalie Chaplin speech)

It is ignorance of human nature through conditioning and arrested psychological development which leads to misperception and misinterpretation of other people's behaviour. People in positions of power who trample on the right of others often have had their own rights trampled on as they were growing up in loveless social environments. As adults they resort to psychological defense mechanisms which enable them to avert their responsibility to themselves to understand the own nature. For this reason we must all work together for a universal education which cultivates all children's  right to develop into integrated and mature human beings... education for the person as a whole or 'holistic education'.

Physical growth to adulthood without concomitant psychological growth (this includes spiritual development)...  results in arrested psychological development... creates... immature human beings ... adults...  with distorted and unbalanced value systems which contradict the interests of their own humanity creating deficiencies of arrested development characterised by irratiional thought and behaviour patterns i.e. 'neuroses' which devalue the interests of their own human development… their  own humanity  and that of others. Neurotic individuals in positions of power  can inflict grave harm on their fellow human beings and on the planet.

Egocentrism is NOTessential human nature but is a characteristic of arrested developmentHuman nature is a function of complete psychological development... this includes moral or 'spiritual' development.   Pursuit of profit and greed is characteristic of  egocentric behaviour resulting from arrested human development.

The problems of our world originate in the loveless environments in which many children are forced to grow up into unloved and therefore incomplete human beings. Unconditional love is a biological necessity for human development because it is food for the developing conscience as moral consciousness or 'spirit'. Our species survival depends on our ability as a species to mature and treat each other and our children with love and respect.

Evolution of humanity :  “What you meet in another being - is the projection of your own level of evolution.” ~ Ram Dass.

Essentially the issue is the evolution of humanity. Every human being has the right to function on the higher level of human consciousness from which our lives are guided by the higher human values or 'metavalues'... creative intelligence, truth, justice, peace and wisdom of compassion (i.e. 'love') as the basis for moral and therefore creative intelligence which is required for our survival as a species...

The human family: We are all the same in the sense that we are all human beings with the same human aspirations. Less identification with self-image (ego) makes for a happier human family.

We are all one. It is time to go beyond our fear-based consciousness and to rise to the higher more intelligent level of love-based consciousness necessary for the effective and adaptive and thefore  intelligent  resolution  of our human problems.   Failure to raise consciousness will result in the extinction of our species.

Don't go along with projections of 'the enemy' onto other people. Look in the mirror.

What is reality?: One can wake up from ordinary reality just as one can wake up from the dream state. This is because the reality as we perceive it is a projection of our ego. Egocentric perception is a distortion of reality as a whole and so we need to raise our level of consciousness to the level beyond ego. This is 'waking up' to  the transpersonal level of consciousness beyond the ego-level of consciousness. Our perception becomes holistic and this makes it possible to understand the reality for what it is.

Religion as connection with our true nature as opposed to religion as belief:

People's ignorance of god consciousness or 'divinity' perpetuates belief in 'gods' as external to human nature.

Fundamentally, all religions have the same message.

The basis pf psychiatric 'problems' is the instinctive drive to self-actualise one's potential for humanness. This involves resistence ('non-compliance') to social conditioning forces. War is insanity which includes the use of women as objects. The fundamental problem is arrested human development. The solution would be universal education for complete personality development. This is the birthright of all children... see the Universal Declaration of Human Rights article 26 paragraph 2.

Quality of society depends on social norms of parental upbringing. Children are mistreated in American society. This is the recipe for dysfunctional 'democracy'.

Education in the real sense only means providing the opportunity to grow up to be a complete human being. This is what each person and each child instinctively wants so there is  nothing scary about it. It is the problems which are scary and these result from the frustration of instinctve human needs. Arrested human development is dangerous

"The Essential Unity of Religions The study of spiritual consciousness and mysticism makes evident that there are several important layers in every religion: The outermost layer consists of the rituals and ceremonies of a religion. These are obviously superficial in nature and do not represent the heart of a religion. These rituals frequently change. The next layer is the set of beliefs or doctrines... theologies... of each religion. This constitutes the theology of a religion. These too are often subject to change. Christianity, for example, has changed its dogma on various things in thecourse of centuries. It has modified its view about the belief that the earth is the center of the universe, or that outside of the Church there is no salvation. The third layer iinnermost layer s the spiritual or mystical core... aspecr... of a religion. In this level, there is hardly any change as to the essence of spirituality in the past several thousand years. Spirituality is experiential, and each generation of spiritual seekers tends to validate what has been previously discovered or realized. Mysticism is the heart of every religion. It is the flame that keeps a religion alive and makes it survive disastrous mistakes that theologies and rituals may make. This third layer consists of many sublayers, such as gnosis or esotericism and the different degrees of mystical attainment. Outside of these three layers, we can mention the superstitious beliefs that tend to accrue around every religious tradition. When religious adherents focus mainly on the rituals or the belief systems, there is a tendency to regard each other with suspicion, with separateness, and even with hostility. The religious violence that we see in the world is a result of living the religious life on those two outer levels. In Ireland, we see the strange phenomenon of Catholics and Protestants bombing and killing each other. In the Islamic world, we see Shi’ites and Sunnis killing each other.  But among the mystics of the great religious traditions, we do not find such enmity, suspicion, separatism and hostility among themselves. The Vedantists, the yogis, the Sufis, the contemplative Buddhists, the Christian mystics, the Jewish Kabbalists – they see more things that unite them together than things that separate them.  Thomas Merton, the well-known Trappist monk who has written best-selling books on the spiritual life, was one of those who delved into the essence of the spirituality of various religions and compared them. In a book entitled Zen and the Birds of Appetite, he faced the question whether a Catholic can practice Zen and remain a Catholic. He answered with a definite yes. Zen, to him, is an experience and not a dogma. It is not different from the spiritual experience of a Catholic or a Protestant.1 A Catholic nun from Canada, Sister Elaine MacInnes, wrote a book entitled Teaching Zen to Christians.2 She considers herself a disciple of the Zen roshi Yamada Koun while remaining as a Catholic nun. She established the first Zen center in the Philippines and taught numerous nuns, priests and lay people in the practice of Zen meditation. Hazrat Inayat Khan, the Sufi teacher who popularized Islamic mysticism to the West, stresses the essential unity of the spiritual experience among the different traditions. He in fact declared: “No one can be a mystic and call himself a Christian mystic, a Jewish mystic or a Mohammedan mystic. For what is mysticism? Mysticism is something which erases from one’s mind all idea of separateness, and if a person claims to be this mystic or that mystic he is not a mystic; he is only playing with a name.”3 Mahatma Gandhi, when asked what his religion was, said that he was a Hindu, a Muslim, a Jew, a Christian, a Buddhist, etc. Abraham Maslow, in his book Religions, Values, and Peak-Experiences, wrote:  To the extent that all mystical or peak-experiences are the same in their essence and have always been the same, all religions are the same in their essence and always have been the same. They should, therefore, come to agree in principle on teaching that which is common to all of them, i.e., whatever it is that peak-experiences teach in common (whatever is different about these illuminations can fairly be taken to be localisms both in time and space, and are, therefore, peripheral, expendable, not essential). This something common, this something which is left over after we peel away all the localisms, all the accidents of particular languages or particular philosophies, all the ethnocentric phrasings, all those elements which are not common, we may call the “core-religious experience” or the “transcendent experience.”4 This realization about the essential unity of the world’s religion is the true and final solution to the interreligious strife that the world has been witnessing for millennia. It is not just a wish or a hope. Interreligious harmony already exists among the mystics of all religions today. It is only among those who see their religious life in terms of dogma and rituals and organizations that there are hostility and separation. To help in attaining religious unity, we must popularize the mystical and spiritual aspects of religions." ……(source?)………………………………………………………………..

The problem is people's ignorance, innacurate evaluation, misunderstanding and misinterpretation which gives rise to corruption of the true meaning of religions and overemphasis on their superficial differences.

In fact the essence of all religions is the same...  spiritual maturity, compassionate nature and peace. Problems  and conflicts arise with... when human development is arrested at the egocentric level as a result of emphasis on myth and dogma... the arrest of human development at the egocentric level. The subsequent limitation of perception accounts for the inability to understand and reason... the result is limited perception and the inability to understand and reason. Peace depends on universal education which is free from the tyranny of dogma and allows for complete personality development...   a planetary society requires a universal education for human development as a function of growth through learning i.e. 'holistic education’.

Freedom from dogma of organized religion or 'spiritual freedom' allows for psychological development of natural intelligence (free thought) which emerges as a result of the holistic functioning of the psychologically mature human brain. As an emergent property of the brain, intelligence is the product of education of the person as a whole or 'holistic education'.

Organized religions suffer from corruption of meaning due to ignorance of the human need for connection with the divine core of human nature (the word religion derives from 'religio' Latin to bind etc. ).

'God' is our own conscience or 'spirit'. We must take the responsibility and have faith in the plan we have for our own life.

Happiness:

Let go of wrong perceptions in order to be happy and free. Recognize the root of  suffering in the realm of perceptions...  not  blame others for one's suffering...   listen to the suffering of others and help them recognize that the root of their suffering lies in their perceptions. Use the practice of deep and compassionate listening to increase one's ability to understand and so to accept them and love them without blaming them.

Control by global elites: The elite rely upon us to maintain the level of control that they have. To diminish the extent of their control, we must transform ourselves. Each person can change the world by transforming themselves.

The profiteering warmongers are people as well... for us to be fearful, ignorant and apathetic only provides them with the power they need to carry out their evil plans.

Morality: Morality is a function of mature moral consciousness or 'conscience' which depends on humane social conditions for complete psychological and moral or 'spiritual' development. Mature conscience is the biologically based mechanism of guidance for ethical living required for intelligent adaptation and therfore survival of the organism and of 'homo sapiens' as a social species.

Education is not the same as schooling:"

"There will exist no standard school model in the New Reality. Instead a plethora of approaches will evolve throughout the planet, inspired by the collective intentions of the small groups of children contributing to each one. Schools will be small - no more than 200 students. And each child will learn at his own pace and according to his own preferred learning styles.. There will be no national curriculum, for the idea that there is a set body of information that must be imparted to each child in order for him to succeed in today’s world is a fallacy I repeat: there is no set diet of knowledge that every child must consume in order to succeed in today’s world. Everything the child could ever need to know he already possesses within. The secret is simply to unlock this ancient knowledge and wisdom, the lock to which only the child knows the unique combination We must let go of the temptation to intrude, interfere with or interrupt a child’s learning. We must step back and allow. If anything, as educators, we are responsible for creating a ‘space of love’ in which the child can find himself and figure out his place in this world for himself. We can trust each child to succeed in this way. But the first step is to learn to trust ourselves”.(eduspire) “The world around you is a mirror. Every one and every thing is reflecting back information regarding Relationship...And there is only one Relationship: between you and YOU – between who you think you are and who you really are. All other relationships are reflections of this most sacred relationship Your only purpose in life is to close the gap between you and YOU Another way of putting this is to say that your only role in life is to align with your True Self. How to align with your True Self? By remembering who you really are. You already know who you are, it’s just that you have forgotten and don’t know that you know. You don’t even need to search for it. In fact, the very act of reaching out for who you already are ensures you miss it. No, you need only open your eyes and you will see yourself for the first time. What are you waiting for? All waiting is futile and serves no purpose other than to postpone the inevitable. You are going to remember who you are at some point, so the only question is, when? The eternally present moment of now is the only time you need. It really is a case of waking up from a dream and seeing yourself – and the world around you – for what they really are. You are not trying to “find” yourself. You are just cleaning, polishing and refocusing the lens with which you view yourself. Most of us view ourselves through the distorted lens of our assumptions about how others see us You must see yourself through your own eyes. For until you can see yourself clearly, nobody else will either.” (Eduspire)

The problem is education for mechanical intelligence without conscience (standardized curricula,, testing etc.). It is far easier and much better to educate for cultivation of moral intelligence.

The word 'education' should not be equated with 'public school'... that idea already comprises a danger inheret in the crisis situation (danger/opportunity). We have the opportunity to change the philosophical framework of so-called 'education'... to transform education from the traditional paradigm of 'education as conditioning' to 'education as spiritual development through meaningful learning'. There are many people working to create the shift.

So-called 'education' has been hijacked in order to keep the people immature and so to disempower them. True education aims for development of critical consciousness and self-empowerment.

Education as cultivation of creative intelligence:

Education is the provision of conditions of freedom necessary for empower ment of the individual to grow through learning which is meaningful because it cultivates their potential for critical moral intelligence or 'creative intelligence'.

Concerning education for the future if we don't know what it will bring so how can we prepare for it? People need to be completely developed or 'humanised' in order to deal with their human problems effectively so whatever the future, of course they need to live in the present... intelligently which means creatively. they need to have developed their 'creative intelligence'. An philosophy of education is meaningful for the 'future' when it is based on the natural principles of human psychological development... this includes moral or spiritual'development.

We need education which fosters intuitive intelligence of complete human development i.e. 'holistic education'.

True intelligence is creative because it involves full development of moral consciousness or 'conscience'. Intelligence without conscience is destructive.

Reinvent education so as to cultivate intellectual and moral development producing creative intelligence, critical consciousness and mature conscience ...  education of the person as a whole or 'holistic education'. Holistic education is based on respect for human psychological needs - so-called 'higher' needs for moral knowledge or 'spiritual' needs as well as so-called 'lower' needs for self-esteem and belongingness or 'ego' and needs. The transpersonal vision is vital to intelligent education for human development and survival of the human species.

The aim of education is the cultivation of intelligence as a function of moral or 'spiritual' development i.e. 'creative intelligence'.

People ignore information which engenders a sense of vulnerability and is too much to deal with... 'cognitive dissonance'.

Liberty as self-ownership is a function of responsibilty to oneself.

Freedom:

Not to confuse freedom with license. License is freedom to satisfy eg needs without a sense of responsibility so 'immoral freedom'. Freedom on the higher level of human consciousness is 'moral freedom'. So it is important for everyone to evolve to a higher level of consciousness. We need education for complete human development... education for the person as a whole or 'holistic education'.

Freedom is often misunderstood as meaning ‘freedom to do whatever you want’ or freedom to be irresponsible. This is a function of immaturity. A mature sense of freedom as ‘true freedom’ implies a natural sense of responsibility which originates in  the sense of sense of responsibility to oneself or 'self-empowerment'. Freedom to be responsible is a function of moral consciousness or 'free morality'. See holistic education for self-empowerment through responsible freedom...

The problems of our world basically originate in arrested human development... arrested at the egocentric level of moral development as result of misdirected education of children.

Essentially, fundamentalism is a problem of arrested human development.

Such misintepretation results in the limited perception which is the root cause for the misinterpretation of religious teachings. The word 'religion' is from Latin 'religiare' - to connect with the spiritual or 'divine' dimension of human nature which is a social nature. Responsible social adaptability or 'sociabilty' is a function of moral consciousnes or 'conscience'. The human species is a social species which depends for species survival on conscience resulting from complete human moral development. This requires cultivation of the human potential for intelligence... not just mechanical intelligence but most importantly the spiritual intelligence of intuition or 'spirituality' which is necessary for the amicable resolution of human problems. We can overcome fundamentalism by providing our children with  education for development of the child as a whole i.e. 'holistic education'.

If fundamentalism is destroying the world... then the absence of fundamentalism and freedom from dogma is what will save the world. Children everywhere must be allowed to grow up understanding the core teaching of all religions in terms of cultivating the human instinct for compassion.

Not to throw out the baby with the bath water... So not to throw out religions. Religion per se is not the problem. Essentially, fundamentalism is a problem of arrested human development which is the root cause for the misinterpretation of religious teachings. Such misintepretation results in the limited perception of fundmentalism. The word 'religion' is from Latin 'religiare' - to connect with the spiritual or 'divine' dimension of human nature. Human nature is a social nature. Responsible sociability (social adaptability) is a function of moral development resulting in mature moral consciousnes or 'conscience' . The human species is a social species which depends for species survival on complete human development. This requires cultivation of the human potential for intelligence... not just mechanical intelligence but most importantly the spiritual intelligence of intuition or 'spirituality' which is necessary for the amicable resolution of human problems.

The world would be a better place if we would only respect each other's humanity... possible if we respect our own.  More identification with humanity, less identification with self-image or 'ego' would be good for all people everywhere.

It is the unbalanced value systems of egocentric adults which inflict grave harm on our species and our planet. The problem is arrested human development. We can turn this around if we have children’s education which is based on trust of human nature and dedication to fulfillment of human potential and human empowerment. The future is our children. We all need to press for a meaningful education which enables them to develop completely and allows them to cultivate their full potential. We need education for development of the personality as a whole or 'holistic education'.

The problems of the world are due to education which arrests human development and fosters egotism as the origin of corruption etc.

The problems today largely a result of misunderstanding of the function of education the true aim of which should be to cultivate natural creative intelligence. It is necessary to press for education which is based on the natural principles of brain functioning and allows for the freedom to cultivate the brain's natural processing functions (includes remembering or 'memory')...  that is 'brain-based learning'.  Education must be based on the principle of freedom  to think for oneself... education for complete development of the personality as a whole i.e.  'holistic education'.

We can change the world if we enable our children to become mature and therefore morally responsible human beings. We must offer them an education which is based on natural laws of human development which can manifest in conditions of freedom to grow through meaningful learning. Freedom is often misunderstood as meaning ‘freedom to do whatever you want’ or freedom to be irresponsible. Irresponsible freedom is a function of arrested development or 'immaturity'. True freedom involves a mature sense of responsibility  because it is a function of moral consciousness or 'free morality'. Responsible freedom is the basis for the self-empowerment required to  make positive change. See holistic education as the practice of freedom for growth though learning.

It is time to change misdirected educational policies. Education does not mean social conditioning and indoctrination. It means providing the conditions of freedom which are required for cultivation of moral intelligence.

We need to offer our children an education (includes upbringing) which allows them to develop their potential for moral and therefore creative intelligence i.e.'holistic education'. Our species survival depends on it.

People should care about their relationship with planet earth. Why would they want to destroy their home? They must be insane!

Important to have faith in the human spirit... developed moral consciousness or 'conscience'. No one can censor that. In the meantime it would be wise for people to keep their political views to themselves and just share their wisdom.

People without rich inner resources must feed their egos with the so-called’ riches’ of external resources.

Poverty as failure to value the soul... 'spiritual poverty'. Poor is the person who doesn't recognise the value of their  own soul and will give it away for the illusory value of money. Some people are so poor that all they have is money.

The human species is not superior :

Homo sapiens is a social species and human nature is a social or 'political' nature. The problem with so-called politics today is that it is no longer human.

It is the ignorance inherent in this very attitude (human species is superior etc.) which will bring about our extinction as a species. Preservation of the human species depends on the full humanisation of the individual and of the society. To be fully human we must be 'inwardly free'... free from social conditioning which creates fear and inner conflict, free from egocentric wishes and desires which prevent us from perceiving the holistic reality extending beyond the limits of the ego-self or 'ego'. We must cultivate our greater self or 'Self'.

Human self-transcendance is prerequisite to effective adaptation to changing conditions because it enables the intelligent resolution of our human problems.

“… when we activate our ‘inner resources of energy and wisdom’ we are better able to steer economic and technological globalization in positive directions. "

Antisocial personality type:

The antisocial personality type goes through life trapped in the same irrational fears which they experienced in their childhood growing up  spiritually as well as  materially poor in a
dysfunctional family in which the father as the authority figure denies the mother’s individuality.

The world needs people with inquiring minds. Ignorance and fear of truth is a threat to human species survival.

Moral courage is a function of moral consciousness resulting from complete psychological development and education for whole personality i.e. 'holistic education'.

We need education for development of the human species as a social species whose survival depends on moral consciousness conscience ... morality or  'spirituality'.

“The object of education is to prepare the young to educate themselves throughout their lives.” (Robert M. Hutchins) ...

Riots are about power... They are about the destructive forces of misguided power.

Blaming the social media for riots is irresponsible because it  disguises the lack of courage to face the real issues.

One possible solution lies in education which offers children and young people the freedom to grow and develop their potential through meaningful learning. Education for empowerment which aims to develop the person as a complete moral (spiritual) and therefore responsible human being is so-called 'holistic education'. By taking young people seriously, we can learn that what is needed is education for cultivation of creative and responsible power or 'empowerment'. Personal empowerment results from education as the freedom to grow through learning which is the birthright of each and every child.

Police brutality is not protective of the public... it only creates further anger and frustration. The same public must protect itself by respecting all human beings on the most fundamental level and pressing for community facilities which provide for the needs of the young.

Authoritarian education:

The German nazis were formed as they were growiung up through childhood and adolescence. America's problem is authoritarian education which closes minds and creates the so-called 'nazi' mindset. The solution would be to implement educational policies for the creation of open-mindedness, intuitive intelligence and moral responsibility of spiritually developed human beings i.e. 'holistic education'.

Education for learner empowerment and cultivation of human potential as ‘education for the people’.

Education policy motivated by power politics is never going to improve. The so-called 'problem of motivation' has to be approached in a rational way ... not through reward and punishment of students, teachers and schools but through understanding of the human personality or 'human nature'. Human nature is a function of intrinsically driven natural curiosity and biologically rooted psychological motives for learning.

The problem is poverty in human spiritual values as well as material values. There should be a global effort to implement education for complete human psychological development ... so-called 'democratic' or 'holistic' education.

Our democracy is clearly dysfunctional. For a functioal democracy we need education for complete human development resulting in production of mature, responsible, compassionate, intuitively intelligent and therefore rational human beings able to resolve their human problems. Such education is based on children's needs and interests i.e.'democratic education' (otherwise known as 'holistic education'.)

Allow children to reach mature adulthood through education which cultivates their complete psychological development. This includes moral development or  'spirituality.. . freedom in education or 'holistic education'.

Spirituality as right relationship: Survival of the human species (homo sapiens) depends on the practice of spirituality as right relationship. Human spirituality ensures the right connection between human beings and the natural environment of which it is a part. We are a social species. We depend on our collective survival on social intelligence made possible with individual evolution of human consciousness to the moral or 'spiritual' plane. The biological function of spirituality is the sustainability of connection of humans with each other. This is prerequisite to peaceful resolution of human problems necessary for environmental conservation.

Giving up attachment to the world does not mean that you set yourself apart from it. Generating a desire for others to be happy increases your humanity. As you become less attached to the world, you become more humane. As the very purpose of spiritual practice is to help others, you must remain in society.

Governments are generally made up of incomplete human beings who do not feel responsible to the people they govern but are more interested in egocentic desires for power and greed to compensate for their sense of incompleteness. What to do about this?

A truly functional democracy depends on the intelligence and integrity of its citizenry. This calls for implementation of responsible and intelligent educational policies.

Democratic education is non-authoritarian education based on the principle of freedom from coercion or 'inner freedom' (also 'spiritual freedom'). Inner freedom is required for complete psychological development as a prerequisite for natural intelligence which emerges as a result of the holistic functioning of the psychologically mature human brain. As an emergent property of the brain, intelligence is the product of education of the person as a whole. As education for the freedom to grow through learning, democratic education is a human right. (Declaration of Human Rights article 26 paragraph 2)

The ability to accept and love yourself unconditionally is the first step to doing the same for others...

children are perfectly capable of directing their own education (life) when they are in an environment that accepts, trusts & respects them as the unique, curious, creative & unlimited beings that they truly are.(eduspire)

Natural intelligence of common sense is the product of educational policies based on respect for natural laws of human development and the cultivation of human potential for creative intelligence i.e. 'holistic education'.

Democratic education (also 'free', 'holistic', 'progressive' etc.) is the freedom to grow through learning which is meaningful because it engages motivation intrinsic to natural development of the human potential for creative intelligence.

On political hardliners and lack of common sense: So-called 'common sense' is an emergent property of the human brain. It the natural intelligence resulting from the holistic functioning of the psychologically developed human brain. Complete psychological development includes moral or 'spirirtual' development. Common sense is the product of education of the person as a whole in the context of freedom from dogma and freedom for growth through meaningful learning or 'inner freedom' which translates into responsible action. Education for development of common sense is based on respect for natural laws of human development i.e. 'holistic education'.

"Practicing compassion, caring for others and sharing their problems, lays the foundation for a meaningful life, not only at the level of the individual, family or community, but also for humanity as a whole. "(Dalai Lama)

Physical growth to adulthood without concomitant psychological growth (includes moral or 'spiritual'  growth) results in the creation of immature human beings who operate with distorted and unbalanced value systems.  As a result of arrested psychological development they develop thought and behaviour patterns which contradict the interests of their own human development… their own  humanity….  and with which. As a result of the devaluation of their own humanity they can inflict grave harm to themselves and to their fellow human beings.

Children are perfectly capable of directing their own education (life) when they are in an environment that accepts, trusts & respects them as the unique, curious, creative & unlimited beings that they truly are.....

Access to the truth is fundamental to freedom and justice of true democracy. Control and secrecy result in the hypocrisy and injustice of dysfunctional democracy.

Education in the real sense only means providing the opportunity to grow up to be a complete human being. This is what each person and each child instinctively wants so there is nothing scary about it. It is the problems which are scary and these result from the frustration of instinctve human needs. Arrested human development is dangerous.

We need education based on trust of human nature which is a social nature i.e. education for children's empowerment or 'holistic education'.

The problem with our world is arrested human development which translates into fear, hatred and conflict. We need education for complete human development beyond the ego-level of consciousness and its egocentric perspective.; we need education for ego-transcendance which translates into empathy, compassion and motivation for understanding. "We must learn to trust human nature and educate children in such a way that they can develop their human potential. This is the only way we can bring real peace to the world. There is only one problem, and it is human development in its totality; once this is achieved in any unit - child or nation - everything else follows spontaneously and harmoniously.'' (Maria Montessori. To Educate the Human Potential)
Compassion is a function of complete human development.
We need universal education based on the respect for the potential of every human neing.
The problem is that we are always looking for answers to solve the problems of society. Social problems would take care of themselves if we would look for answers from the point of view of questions asked by developing children as they grow up to become mature and responsible adults.
According to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (article 26 paragraph 2) "Education shall be directed to the full development of the human personality and to the strengthening of respect for human rights and human freedoms". It should focus on the need to humanize the school system in as many ways as possible. Outcome based education and monetary reward and punishment of schools is inhumane. Effective schools and successful learners depend on humane learning environments which respect human nature and support children's pychological needs as the basis for motivation for learning.development of potential. They include both basic psychological needs for self-esteem and belongingness (the 'ego needs') and also the so-called 'higher' spiritual needs for wholeness, self-transcendance and creative intelligence of complete personality development.
Education based on adult desires and expectations ('outcome-based education') is not meaningful for children whose job it is to develop the moral intelligence of developed personality and potential.
The issue is not time per se. The issue is the degree of meaningfulness of whatever amount of time is spent. Schoolwork and homework can be interesting and stress-free or boring and stressful depending on how the student is motivated. If the work activity is intrinsically motivated (as opposed to extrinsically) then it engages natural psychological development so that time does not become an issue.
The problem is arrested human development which translates into lirresponsible thought patterns and actions resulting from lack of intelligence and closed-mindedness,   We need universal education for complete development of human intelligence through learning in conditions of freedom from the tyranny of religious and political dogma. Inner freedom or  'spiritual freedom' is fundamental to human development of intuitive intelligence or 'creative intelligence'.
The problem with schools is the lack of humanity and humaneness. Love is fundamental. It is what makes for a humane environment which chidren need for effective learning. This is simply education on a ‘human scale’... elementary. Congratulations for having the courage to be human.

To promote rational skepticism we need education to foster natural human development of critical intelligence...

More important than money is educational philosophy. Traditional out-based education is only creating more problems. We need universal education for development of human potential and moral courage... democratic or  'holistic education.

One of the fundamental problems  underlying our global crisis is arrested human development resulting in egocentric perspective, irrational behaviour, moral cowardice and irresponsibility.  We need to press for the quiet revolution of education as freedom for growth and complete human development through learning and self-empowerment i.e. so-called 'holistic education'.

It is time for change. We need to implement universal education which is based on the original meaning of the word in its largest sense... the process of bringing out from latency. The aim of holistic education is to develop the person's human potential... to bring out or educe the person's latent potential.

What happens when you release the need to judge? You do not define others by your labels ► you define yourself FOR  Any label used to define what you see before you is arbitrary. When you use labels, when you judge, when you define what you see When you label anyone, your label does not define the person you judge, rather it defines your need to judge, criticise or blame.” Children must be free to discover their potential for discernment and accurarte evaluation of information. This is possible with complete psychological and spiritual development through meaningful learning i.e. 'holistic education'.·

·                             Crisis combines danger with opportunity. Let's understand the danger and make the best of the opportunity to educate our children for spiritual growth through meaningful learning. There is hope for the future and it depends on education based on trust of human nature. The present crisis like any other combines danger with the opportunity for change. While learning to understand the danger, it is important to recognize the opportunity for change in education. ...e need to allow children the freedom to grow through learning so that they can discover their potential. This is possible with complete psychological and spiritual development through meaningful learning i.e. 'holistic education'.·

…loving, supportive and nurturing environment in which the students felt safe, accepted and valued

Judgement makes us unhappy (and unhealthy). Judgement detracts from discernment and accurate evaluation and therefore to lack of appreciation which is needed to activate the higher aspectof one’s being (and keep one healthy).

…the adult-controlled, teacher-directed paradigm of education

Children if allowed to be FREE, GRATEFUL and TRUSTED to be themselves will be  EMPOWERED to talk, laugh, play, think, imagine, create, give, share, love, learn, live, grow, teach, heal....

Both schools and prisons as well as the Constitution itself are founded on the irratinal mistrust of human nature. This false premise is what creates the social problems which become in fact 'pseudoproblems' defined in terms of dollar amounts. I don't know what to think except 'how insane'.

Education for cultivation of intelligence with conscience or ‘creative intelligence’.

Human spirituality is our natural equipment which ensures the survival of our species as a social species. It is up to us to offer the young an education which is appropriate to the natural development of spirituality as moral consciousness or 'conscience' i.e. education which cultivates development of all aspects of the human personality or 'human nature' ('holistic education')....

Jesus: "Love thy neighbour as thyself. One must accept oneself in order to be able to love the 'other'.  Loving 'God' is another way of saying 'loving oneself'.

Catastrophe can be averted with universal education for human development. The human species is a social species which depends for survival on developed moral consciousness or 'conscience'. Conscience is a function of complete spiritual growth. So what we need is to invest in the conditions required for each individual to develop their. human potential... a biological necessity.

Spiritual development is develoment of conscience or 'spirit'...

The person transcends the ego's identification with...  and taps into the space of pure consciousness... moral consciousness or 'conscience' otherwise known as 'spirit'. Acting from the spiritual plane is always 'dangerous' in a world which remains stuck in the egocentric worldview of arrested spiritual development.

The aim of education in its original sense (from Latin 'e' out and 'ducare' to lead) is development of human potential for consciousness of spiritual values or moral values necessary for species survival of homo sapiens as a social species.

The English word 'God' is identical with the Anglo-Saxon word for 'good' as 'divine goodness' of the human personality or 'human nature'… also ‘god consciousness’ or moral consciousness of developed conscience, the source of human values or 'virtues'. Awareness of virtues provides the guide for living. The real understanding of the meaning of God based on trust of human nature results in social responsibility and ability to resolve our human problems. Misunderstanding based on mistrust of human nature results in social irresponsibility and inability to resolve human problems. This is all a function of biology. We are a social species endowed with spiritual dimension of our nature. In order to resolve our human problems, to ‘adapt’ for survival, we depend on moral consiousness or ‘morality’.Understanding of the essential 'goodness' of human nature or 'divinity' of human nature unites people while misunderstanding based on mistrust of human nature divides people and results  in conflict. This is all a function of biology. We are a social species which depends for survival on complete development ... awareness or consciousness of moral values or 'morality'. Communion with god represents connection with one's divine source or 'essence'. Each human being is potentially capable of living by human values of conscience… provided that right conditions ( or ‘education’) were offered as individual grew to adulthood.

Dalai Lama Center for Peace and Education: One can ask questions of people one doesn't know, so 'strangers'. They can be questions about their political opinions, their religious views, their motivation for activities they are engaged in or practically anything. If the questions are asked at opportune moments and if they are put in a way which respects people’s humanity and intelligence, people usually respond with interest and sincerity. The reactions and remarks can provide a great deal of data with which to reflect. This is a way to look into someone else's mind and appreciate their point of view. One such encounter per day enables me to 'brush my brain’ or ‘brush my mind' and keep away negative thoughts.

The peaceful resolution of human problems depends on universal education for complete human development in conditions which provide for inner freedom, open-mindedness and trust in human nature. Maria Montessori put it like this: "We must learn to trust human nature and educate children in such a way that they can develop their human potential. This is the only way we can bring real peace to the world. There is only one problem, and it is human development in its totality; once this is achieved in any unit - child or nation - everything else follows spontaneously and harmoniously.'' (Educating for Human Potential)

To be in the grip of an opinion means to be in the grip of your mind and mistaking that for who you are in essence. Eckhart Tolle

“I” is the password to log on to this world. Don’t trust the software of the mind. All its files are corrupt, every thought a potential virus.~ Mooji

Our priority is to stop viewing children as ignorant and insignificant beings that need to be filled with facts and knowledge. We must understand that each and every child is a gloriously unique, divine spark of unlimited creative potential. Each child is born with innate passion and purpose. Accordingly, the education process should be unique to each child. There is no system appropriate for every child. And only the child himself knows what he must learn in order to fulfil his purpose.

The role of the educator is thus to facilitate the unlocking of the child’s latent potential, to provide an environment conducive to the child connecting with his own inner teacher. As Einstein said, "Every child is born a genius". It is only due to the unnecessary interference of distrusting adults – particularly their reliance on artificial, unnatural systems and theories – that children are forced to relinquish their deity status and resign themselves to conforming to the collective (yet entirely false) belief that the human being is nothing more than an evolved form of monkey. Evolution from the apes was a vicious lie perpetuated to distract you from your true nature as the most powerful being in the Universe.

So what is education? Education is life itself. What is life? An opportunity to remember who you really are. An opportunity to align with and honour your True, Core, Authentic Self, from whom your passions and purpose emanate. "Education" is not a synonym for "school", even though the majority of us have been schooled to believe so!

To continue adhering to a one-size-fits-all system of s0-called education that stifles creativity, suppresses the expression of individuality and strips away life’s meaning is beyond insane; it is tantamount to child abuse. Just because we accepted this abuse ourselves as children does not mean we need to inflict the same abuse on our own children.

Parents say they want their children to grow up happy. Then they must stop abandoning their children to a system that encourages the opposite and accept responsibility for their role as teachers. Yes, we are all teachers. We are all teachers because we all set an example for others by the way we choose to live our lives. Who you are being is your teaching. The idea that education rests solely on the shoulders of trained professionals represents a reprehensible lack of responsibility on the part of the community at large.

We must begin trusting ourselves. For until we can trust ourselves we cannot trust our children. Then we must trust our children and follow their lead. In years to come we will be thankful that we did, for our children will lead us into a new reality. A new way of living and being on Planet Earth. They will be our  teachers. Take a look at the mess we have made of looking after this incredible planet. We may think we know what is best for our children but we do not. We are clueless. It is time to listen to our children, the people in whose hands our hope for the future lies. Increasing numbers of children are being born with a closer connection to Source energy. This is all part of the Divine Plan to shift human consciousness.

If we are to persist with the idea of schools then it is the children themselves who should be free to design, build and run them in whatever ways they see fit

Adults can learn from children. We tend to forget that we are also an animal species which depends for survival on its spiritual nature... its connection with nature. It is social conditioning which cuts us off from ourseves and from our natural environment that poses the biggest threat to our species survival.

Children must be allowed to express themselves and adults must listen and learn from them. We tend to forget that we are also an animal species. For our survival we depend on our spiritual nature ... our connection with and within nature. The majority of people are conditioned to become cut off from themseves and their natural environment. It is the so-called 'mainstream' which is mentally ill. As such it poses the biggest threat to our species survival

This is fantastic news. People will continue with unjust behaviour because they don't question it... they will learn from others who do question it because basically unjust behaviour is contrary to the natural ethical laws of human nature.

My inspiration comes from trusting children to trust themselves to grow through learning and become happy, fulfilled, loving and therefore humane people responsible to themselves, to others and to the planet they share with all the other animal species.

National security state and permament war economy have become their own monsters…

The aim of Yoga, of union, is to unite the thinking mind with its source in pure awareness. In modern terms, “pure awareness” means quantum space, the silent, empty void that is the womb of all matter and energy.

“Pure awareness exists in the gap between thoughts; it is the unchanging background against which all mental activity takes place. We would not ordinarily suspect that such a state exists because our minds are so preoccupied with the stream of thoughts, wishes, dreams, fantasies, and sensations that fill waking consciousness. That is why the ancient Indian sages had to devise the specific technique of meditation, in order to show the mind its own origins in the quantum depths.

Sitting in meditation with the eyes closed induces the nervous system to enter a state of “restful alertness” – i.e., the mind remains awake while the body goes into a deeply relaxed state.

Sleep is a hypometabolic state in which oxygen consumption decreases, heartbeat slows, and consciousness blanks out. The waking state, on the other hand, is marked by higher oxygen consumption, a faster heartbeat, and an alert mind. These opposites are united in meditation.

While remaining alert enough to feel the experience of pure awareness, people go into a state of rest twice as deep as sleep. Moreover, they do so very quickly, usually within ten minutes after shutting their eyes, compared to the four to six hours it takes us to reach our deepest relaxation in sleep”.

"It is dangerous to be right in matters on which established authorities are wrong." Voltaire

The problem is that American society of so-called 'freedom' and 'democracy' is based on the fallacious assumption that human nature cannot be trusted and people's freedoms must be controlled.

A civilized society depends upon offering the young an education based on trust of human nature and understanding of human developmental needs. Children become mature, responsible and therefore civilized adults ifthey are offered  a mature, responsible and civilized education. 'Civilized' implies respect for human values. So-called 'American values' of freedom and democracy are in fact natural human values which must be practiced in the education of children. It is time for an education revolution. Children must be allowed the  freedom to grow through learning which is meaningful to them. We must stop conditioning children for mediocrity and instead offer them  education which  respects their basic human right to develop  their person and potential and therefore to become a civilized member of a civilized society (see 'holistic education').

It is not so much capitalism to blame as arrested human development resulting in so-called 'success' motivated by greed and selfishness. As a global collective, we need to grow up and solve our human problems peacefully and effectively... with compassion for 'the other'.

It is clear that as president of his country, Barack Obama feels he must operate within the constraints of its the laws. However man-made laws do not always coincide with moral principles on the higher plane of human consciousness. People make laws  to suit their own interests. Many laws are in fact immoral. Bradley Manning is a prisoner of conscience... with his actions he has maybe 'broken the law' but in fact he has served his country (which he adopted) because he has exposed immorality and thus contributed to world peace.

It is clear that as president of his country, Obama must operate within the constraints of its laws. Consider the issue within the larger context of human morality. Man-made laws do not always coincide with moral principles of the higher plane of human consciousness. Many laws are in fact immoral. Obama claims that Bradley Manning 'broke the law' when in fact he exposed the immorality of 'the law'.

“The world around you is a mirror. Every one and every thing is reflecting back information regarding relationship. And there is only one relationship: between you and YOU – between who you think you are and who you really are. All other relationships are reflections of this most sacred relationship. Your only purpose in life is to close the gap between you and YOU. Another way of putting this is to say that your only role in life is to align with your True Self. You are just cleaning, polishing and refocusing the lens with which you view yourself”. (Eduspire)

Holistic education for children means a future of peace for humanity. "The only means to a world of peace and understanding is through the proper education of children into emotionally and intellectually mature and thinking adults, respectful and tolerant of other cultures" (Norman Goble. The Function of Teaching, UNESCO Paris 1977) "

Human excellence in whatever domain depends on education based on natural principles of human development (holistic education).

What goes around, comes around. So there is no need to worry about what you are going to "get back." There is only a need to worry about what you are going to "give out."

This is proof that so-called 'education' in Tennessee is really not about the human right to freedom for development of personality and potential (See Universal Declaration of Human Rights article 26  paragraph 2). It is more about supresssion of free thought and indoctrination. The real aim of education is for students to develop critical thinking skills no matter what is 'taught' in the classroom. A sad state of affairs when the 'powers that be' are desperate enough to want to legislate for the continuation of their own complacency in ignorance.

Human nature is in fact a social nature... compassionate and peaceful. The destructive forces of greed and envy are in fact symptoms of emotional disorder which result from arrested human development. This is why we need universal education for complete human development i.e.education for the person/child as a whole or 'holistic education'.

The problem is arrested human development. Our human problems are more likely to be resolved with recognition of the need for universal education which cultivates growth and intelligence through meaningful learning.

In the context of modern understanding of 'God' as god consciousness,  'forgive us our trespasses' is a way of saying 'one must forgive oneself which is a necessary prerequisite for compassionate and therefore responsible social interaction.

"Uncertainty is the fertile ground of pure creativity and freedom." Deepak Chopra

Let's all look to the future of humankind with the wisdom we gain from hard lessons.

Our new human species needs a new education for children. We need education that allows them to become authentic spiritual beings because it cultivates their natural spiritual intelligence.... it develops their human potential through learning which is meaningful because it is driven by natural curiosity and intrinsic motivation.

Natural learning is a holistic process which engages the optimal functioning of the brain as a whole.

People give power to people who want power. What is needed is universal education which results in natural development of human the human critical faculties which protect a society from abuse of power... education for the person as a whole or 'holistic education'.

Jungian view: the only genuine cure for neurosis is to grow out of it through the individuation process which typically includes experiences of a numinous nature.

The way to protect society from ignorance and fanaticism is to implement educational policies based on real understanding and trust of human nature its potential for god-consciousness or 'God'.

Interrelationship on the transpersonal level (as opposed the ‘ego’ or ‘personality’ level) result in the manifesting of higher intelligence and therefore more effective decision making and responsible action... this  is essential if the human collective is going to resolve its problems.

The problem is IGNORANCE and LOW  INTELLIGENCE resulting from poor education... poor in the sense that the natural drive for personal development is inhibited, curiosity is not stimulated, creativity is stunted so that the person does not reach a state of maturity, responsibility and empathy.  Unfortunately they manage to acquire positions of influence over others only because people follow like sheep (sheeple) as a result of their own lack of intelligent education. It is time for us to be reminded of our true human values.

Test yourself:

Most people are like walking time bombs, full of 'emotional buttons' waiting to be pushed...  seeing themselves as the victims of whoever, or whatever, pushes them...  Unaware that they are operating on 'auto-pilot', from conditioned emotional responses which make up their individual 'map of reality'.. .We all unconsciously create our own Individual map of reality and although it is very real to us it is not in fact reality, only the reality that we perceive ourselves and it to be. We go through life believing and doing so many things that seem right to us, but in fact they are not right at all, yet we will stick to our own reality come what may. Yet each of us has the power to choose how to respond to whatever happens... Test yourself: Have you reached the stage where you no longer take other peoples emotional responses personally? Are you able to listen to someone's perspective (even though it is very different from your own) without feeling the urge to react to them?  Can you relate and empathize with those who are struggling with emotional/mental attachments? If you have reached this stage in self awareness, then you will know just how liberating it feels...

Compassion can only be enforced through education based on natural principles of human nature and human development. Compassion is a function of optimal personal development. For this reason any so-called 'religious education' must engage the complete development of the moral or 'spiritual' dimension of the person's essential nature. (See 'holistic education').

We are in essence a peaceful animal which depends on education for peace and freedom ('holistic education'.) The problem is ego identification. There is a need for people to develop personally, morally, so 'beyond ego'...

As we suffer through the mounting crises in Japan, Libya, the Middle East, and the whole world, it is vital that we place the crises in the context of evolutionary drivers toward what is being born through us.  For example, members of the Goi Peace Foundation in Japan sent out a letter to many of us saying that they have decided to invite visionaries, scientists, artists and environmentalists from all over the world to help them build a New City that represents the New Civilization. (Barbara Marx Hubbard)

As you know, we have known that "Our Crisis is a Birth."  Now I feel the hour of the birth is near.  How will we make the shift in time, quickly enough to avoid ever greater destruction?

The biggest problems originate from teachers' fears of their students. That is why they want to control and punish. But punishment breeds fear and fear blocks effective whole brain learning. So 'keeping kids in line...' is not the way. To cultivate intelligence teachers must be be intelligent themselves. They must be confident, understanding and respectful towards their students. They must provide conditions of security and validation of their students' efforts and encourage them to take responsibility for their own work.

Crucial factor of quality education... The learning must be personally meaningful to the learner so that it engages the natural development of moral consciousness or 'conscience'. As a result of the engagement moral development in the learning process, the person becomes knowledgable and ethical at the same time and can apply their knowledge with the intuition which is derived from the wisdom of compassion. (See 'holistic education')

Bullying is a symptom of inhumane school environments resulting from undue pressures of  educational policies conncerning student performance and achievement. The bullying problem might possibly be due to inhumane school environments and undue pressure on students to perform and 'succeed'. There must be change at the most fundamental levels. We need education for children as subjects, not as objects... education for the child as a whole and for the development of their human potential i.e.holistic education also know as 'democratic education'.

It is precisely deconnection with our our humanity which is at the root of our so-called 'educational crisis'.Why does it take so long for the realisation that meaningful, active and creative education  is not about curricula as much as about learner-oriented educational policies based on philosophies involving natural laws of human development.

To make the world a better place education for children should mean allowing them to develop their own human potential rather than conditioning them  for mediocrity.

…shift in global consciousness from instability and discord to balance, cooperation and increasing peace.

Get in touch... connect...  with the innnermost essence of your being which is beyond your ego. It is fearless, free, immune to criticism, unafraid of challenge, beneath no one, superior to no one, full of magic, mystery and enchantment.

"The more you think about your own self, the more self-centred you are, the more trouble even small problems can create in your mind. The stronger your sense of ‘I’, the narrower the scope of your thinking becomes; then even small obstacles become unbearable. On the other hand, if you concern yourself mainly with others, the broader your thinking becomes, and life’s inevitable difficulties disturb you less."

"When we are no longer able to change a situation,we are challenged to change ourselves." ~ Viktor Frankl - from Man's Search For Meaning

Be at peace with everyone. No one is capable of making you upset without your consent, so if you begin practicing the intention to be authentic and peaceful with everyone, you connect to peace itself - and gain the power to change the energy of your relationships with family and friends.

A belief is just a repeated thought. You create your reality according to your strongest beliefs. Beliefs are not 'right' or 'wrong'. They are either useful (empowering) or unhelpful (limiting). Remember, life is meaningless! You decide what you believe is true. You can change any and all of your beliefs. When you decide to take control of your beliefs then you become a conscious creator of reality.

Many people say they will only believe something when they see it. "Prove to me that ghosts exist, then I will believe in ghosts". "The day I win the National Lottery is the day I start believing in miracles". 'Seeing is believing' is a common but nevertheless entirely flawed premise from which to view life. Your beliefs are experience filters that determine what is possible or true for you. A ghost cannot show up in your experience until you believe in ghosts! You won't win any money in the lottery unless you believe you can. Roger Bannister could never have run a four-minute mile unless he believed it were possible. Believing is seeing. You will only ever see what you believe

It is time for a change in teaching paradigm based on the meaning of education in the largest sense of the word... to bring out or educe the person's latent potential.

If you want to reach a state of bliss, then go beyond your ego and the internal dialogue. Make a decision to relinquish the need to control, the need to be approved, and the need to judge. Those are the three things the ego is doing all the time. It's very important to be aware of them every time they come up.

When you blame & criticize others, you are avoiding some truth about yourself.

"We must out-educate, out-compete, and out-innovate the rest of the world." America must stop trying to outdo the 'rest of the world'. We are one human family and can only solve our human problems by working together as a global ommunity. If we don't change our thinking there will be no future 'to win'.

The crux of the matter is educational theory... how educate? Traditional curriculum-driven education must be replaced by learner-oriented education.

Practical benefit of mindfulness meditatipon… increases intuition necessary for solving problems big and small. Human species depends on it for survival.

This is a person who has had the good fortune to be allowed to become a complete human being... one who loves and respects her fellow human beings. This is about human connection. The gender thing ('gay' etc.) is more of a cultural anomaly which reflects the dysfunctional society to which she is trying to adapt.

The inhumanity of home and school environments can stunt children's psychological and spiritual growth producing dysfunctional adults who lack the ability for understanding and empathy or 'compassion'. Therefore we must offer children everywhere an education which combined with unconditional love cultivates their complete human development including development of spirit or conscience. In this way they become compassionate as adults who can continue to create a compassionate world.

Consider article 26 paragraph 2 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights... "Education shall be directed to the full development of the human personality and to the strengthening of respect for human rights and human freedoms". The aim of education, in the fullest and deepest sense of the word, is to provide the conditions to free the human spirit in order to cultivate naturally meaningful human intelligence or 'creative intelligence'. Cultivation of creative intelligence is a function of the integrated development of the person as a whole or 'holistic education'. Holistic education is based on respect for the instinctive motives for growth through learning... not only the basic psychological needs for security, self-esteem and belongingness ('ego-needs') but also the spiritual needs or 'metaneeds' which define the human personality or 'human nature’…a function of the proper development of rational conscience which is is essential for self mastery and intelligent social adaptability.

Telling someone who’s stuck to “just let go” is as futile as telling someone who is hysterical to “just calm down.” Negative things stick to us because they are tied to an underlying energy that doesn’t want to move away. Angry people don’t need a specific reason to get angry; they only need a pretext for releasing the pent-up energy that keeps them at a constant simmer. Anxious people are worried inside, not about any one thing, but about fear itself. To be free, you must find a way to let go of all the stuck energy that keeps sending out the same old messages. The ability to let go is more complex than it sounds, but nothing is more crucial.

Your stuck energies force you to be someone who doesn’t exist anymore: the angry child deprived of love, the frightened child who doesn’t feel safe. The past is a false guide to the future, and yet it’s what most of us rely upon. By letting go of stuck energies, you let go of your past. Go deep enough and you can let go of time itself. In that release lies ultimate freedom. All of human history rests in you. Yours is the grief of the world and its sorrows, and its fear and anger. Some might feel despair to hear this truth, but why not feel joy? To think that in liberating yourself you liberate the world.

One of the most famous pieces in Zen literature, read or chanted every day in Zen practice centers, is called the Heart Sutra, which in a few paragraphs describes the essential path of Zen practice. A phrase from the Heart Sutra says, “without any hindrances, no fears exist.” These hindrances are the ways in which we protect ourselves, shield our hearts, and keep ourselves closed and separate. Zen practice provides a method and discipline for identifying and loosening the ways we get in our own way. It helps us move from living and acting from fear, to living and acting with fearlessness. By searching for safety and control, and from responding out of fear, without realizing it, we sacrifice the freedom, flexibility, and connections that are our birthright.

It is important that children understand there is injustice and violence all over the planet and they can grow up to help the healing.

This is all about opening of minds and the struggle to contend with closed minds. It is time to change education of children from one of conditioning and closed-mindedness to one of meaningful learning and open- mindedness... education for complete human development or 'holistic education'.

The reactions to WikiLeaks share one characteristic, so obvious that it can easily be overlooked...  an unwillingness to address with any sophistication or seriousness the complex and ever changing world that the US must now deal with. (Huffington Post. Julian Assange Page)

What to with the some of the 100 million... First let us agree that true democracy depends on democratic education - that is education which provides conditions of freedom for learning which is meaningful because it is based on trust of hum...an nature and ...respect for human developmental needs. The aim is fulfillment of human potential not conformity to arbitrary standards. The fact is that most so-called 'education' is really about indoctrination and conditioning or 'mind control' which is contrary to the creation of democratic thinking required for functioning of true democracy not authoritarian democracy. Consequently it is necessary to support all those organisations ... such as Alternative Education Resources Organization (AERO)... which are founded and managed by people who understand what education is really all about. (The word is derived from Latin 'educare' - to lead out or bring out from within.) The real issue is educational philosophy. Fallacious education is the root cause of many social and political problems.

Submitted to Citizens for Diplomacy...  My experiences as student, teacher and parent have taught me to respect the natural human right to growth through learning in freedom: "freedom" as in the absence of religious or political dogma which nurtures ignorance, fear, hatred and thus conflict. So-called "˜spiritual' freedom or "˜inner freedom' is moral freedom because it implies responsibility and thus contrasts with irresponsible freedom or "license". Moral freedom allows for insight into the interconnectedness between all people and respect for one's own humanity and respect for the humanity of others. In this way moral freedom or "true freedom" translates to outer freedom which is foundational to a culture of peace.

World peace depends on each person's respect for their own humanity as well as the humanity of others. Therefore it is necessary to have a universal education which aligns its foundational a culture of peace. philosophy with the understanding of human nature as a social, compassionate and therefore peaceful nature. Inner peace - a function of moral or 'spiritual' development - translates to moral action and social cooperation or 'outer peace'. Consequently education for peace is a function of learning which is meaningful because it engages the person's natural motivation for complete human development. So-called 'peace education' or 'holistic education' provides the conditions for world peace because it provides the conditions which are right for complete human development. We must learn to trust human nature and educate children in such a way that they can develop their human potential. This is the only way we can bring real peace to the world.

''There is only one problem, and it is human development in its totality; once this is achieved in any unit - child or nation - everything else follows spontaneously and harmoniously.'' (Maria Montessori. To Educate the Human Potential )

Children are the natural teachers of Oneness. Unfortunately they are conditioned in a system of so-called 'education' which is fallacious because it is based on implicit mistrust of human nature. Consequently they learn to mistrust the valu......es of their own humanity as well as those of other human beings. It is up to the adults to offer an education which allows and enables them to continue to grow through learning from that place of Onenesss. This kind of education is humane because it is based on trust in human nature and understanding of human development. Humane education is known by many names.(See 'holistic education')

Your living is determined not so much by what life brings to you as by the attitude you bring to life; not so much by what happens to you as by the way your mind looks at what happens~Khalil Gibran

The end of the false self spells the end of fear, and the desperate need for power that fearful people cannot help. Power is a form of self-protection, and when fear is gone, there is no need for protection.

The true self is love, and being able to love all the time is the most one could want. The clash between love and power then has no meaning.  Rabindranath Tagore… “Love is not a mere impulse; it must contain truth, which is law.”

We try to protect ourselves from being hurt emotionally, not realizing the intensity of life we have walled out in the process. It is necessary to defend the heart when it is too weak and frightened to love, yet at some point all that can change. It becomes possible to let love flow when and where it wants. You are able to welcome others into the expanded space of your own being without defenses, without fear,

“I was driving down the highway looking for the exit when I noticed an unusual sensation in my chest. It began as a warm or tingling feeling, which I recognized from meditation. Generally the feeling is pleasant but temporary. Now it began to intensify, and instead of physical warmth, wave after wave of emotion started to sweep over me.”“It was love, but much purer and more concentrated love than I had ever felt…my heart was unfolding like a flower…I was having the most wonderful experience of my life.”I felt the tender affection of someone who has not torn down the walls of pain but flown over them

One hand clapping is silence... listen to silence.

Non-resistance, non-judgement, non-attachment are pillars of enlightened living... true freedom.

Soul is consciousness or ‘spirit’.

Spiritual development is development of moral consciousness  or ‘conscience’.

Soul education cultivates development of conscience.

Compassion ensures authentic ethical life... increases intuitive insight... intelligence...  necessary for accurate evaluation of the social environment.

The moment you adopt a sense of caring for others, it brings you inner strength. Inner strength brings inner tranquility, greater self-confidence. Because of such attitudes, even when things going on around you seem hostile and negative, you can still sustain your peace of mind

Be daring, be different, be impractical, be anything that will assert integrity of purpose and imaginative vision against the play-it-safers, the creatures of the commonplace, the slaves of the ordinary.~Cecil Beaton  Forgivesness is not something we do for others. We forgive for ourselves… for our own peace of mind so that we can get well and move on.   Forgiving ourselves and others for the casual unkindness of an unconscious moment; for time wasted in self-pity that could have been used to create something true and beautiful; for lack of gratitude for blessings and privileges.  Dedicating ourselves to the purification of our hearts . . . seeking to stop the chronic indulgence of our weaknesses, and the power to embody our God-given strengths. Every decision you make—every decision—is not a decision about what to do. It’s a decision about Who You Are. When you see this, when you understand it, everything changes. You begin to see life in a new way. All events, occurrences, and situations turn into opportunities to do what you came here to do.,

The various religious traditions have great potential to increase compassion, the sense of caring for one another, and the spirit of reconciliation. However, a human being, without religious faith, can be a very good person - sincere, a good heart, having a sense of concern for  others - without belief in a particular religious faith.

There is always something to celebrate, so long as life is being lived. If you take an honest look, you will notice that in almost every instance life is showing up right now with everything you need to be content and at peace.

‎"Money is congealed energy and releasing it releases life possibilities ... Money experienced as life energy is indeed a meditation, and letting it flow out instead of hoarding it is a mode of participation in the life of others." - Joseph Campbell in "Reflections on the Art of Living: A Joseph Campbell Companion," ed. Diane Osbon (p. 58)

In this day and age our global human problems necessitate that we (all humanity) adopt an intelligent and meaningful approach in order to tackle them effectively. This would depend on our ability to understand human nature as it really is and not as we would like it to be. We have much more understanding of the nature of human nature than we have had previously. We know that the human being is a social animal which depends for survival on moral or ‘spiritual’ development and so development of rational conscience. Furthermore our species survival depends on the development of our collective conscience. It is time to consider the need to inform ourselves of where authentic morality comes from. We need to make room for the importance of personal development and character formation. Morality depends on the conditions provided as children grow up ... it comes naturally... it unfolds... it emerges with growth and the right education. Imposed morality, authoritarian morality, is not authentic.

Religion in the fullest and deepest sense of the word refers to the connection with the spiritual core or essence or 'soul' but has taken on the meaning associated with identification with dogma. There is a strong movement in the world today to connect with the spiritual essence of our being... namely our 'god consciousness' (the original meanig of 'religion'). I feel that it is a responsibility of the organized religions (whatever their dogma) to at least try to understand the facts concerning human nature and human development. There are many books and many websites with pertinent information. ·                                     Happiness is letting go of being right...

·                                     A negative attitude will send you down the road to unhappiness. There is no avoiding it. It will absolutely happen, and it doesn't matter what the problem. A positive attitude will put you back on the path to inner peace and happiness.

Human nature is essentially compassionate and gentle. That is the predominant feature of human nature. Anger, violence, and aggression not part of our most basic, underlying nature but arise on a secondary more superficial level when we are frustrated in our efforts to achieve love and affection.

What is the Self? It is the part of the psyche which organizes and directs the rest of the psyche -- the ego, the conscious mind, the personal unconscious, and all other elements of our psychological being. It is the totality of the psyche, including all of the elements, such as the ego, etc. Because the Self is all of the psyche, its viewpoint contains an objectivity, acceptance, reconciliation, and balance of the "opposites" of ego and shadow, persona and shadow, and our many contradictory feelings and impulses. It is the center of the psyche (like the nucleus of an atom) to which the other parts of the psyche are connected and subordinate. It is an archetype. It is a transcendent, unchanging part of ourselves, in contrast to the ever-varying ego, shadow, complexes, etc. It is a "God-image" within the psyche. AlthoughJung was criticized for allegedly implying that the Self is God, he stressed that the Self is not God itself but rather only an image of God, a representation of God as it would be depicted within the psyche (although he did call the Self the "God within us" in Psychology and Religion on page 334). An encounter with the Self feels like a "religious experience" with God; Jung said that the occurrence leaves us vitalized" and "enriched." In addition to being a symbol of God in the psyche, the Self could also be considered a symbol of what the religions call the "soul." When we encounter the Self, we re-evaluate the ego. Some people mistakenly think that when they encounter the Self, they are simply discovering a greater view of their ego; this error can cause the people to (1) inflate their ideas regarding themselves (believing that the God-like numinosity of the Self is their own personal magnificence), or (2) weaken the ego (as the person attempts to rise into the Self's transcendence at the expense of the ego's healthy structure and limits). Ideally, in our meeting with the larger "Self," we retain the sense of the ego's small"self" as a still-valid part of ourselves. The ego is no longer our only center of identity; thus its importance downsizes to being simply one element of many in the psyche -- still powerful and important as a "manager" but it is not the big boss. The Self grants new perspectives. When we can look at the ego from the viewpoint of the Self, we gain an objective understanding of the nature of the ego -- its claim to be our identity, its sense of distinction and preeminence over the psyche's other functions, its preferences and tastes, its quests for personal growth and mastery, and its self-centered perspective (which is not a bad thing but rather a vital standpoint for our focus and protection). When we meet the Self, we realize that we have previously assigned some of the Self's functions to the ego simply because we did not know the Self, and the ego seemed to be the only part of us which could fill these roles. Now we can transfer some the ego's functions to that Self; for example, instead of allowing the ego to devise our goals, we accept the Self's goals, which are aligned toward the actualization of its life-purpose; the ego, without the wise, balancing influence of the Self, tends to select goals that are no more than ego-symbols, such as an audacious home. We gain many benefits from an identification with the Self.A deeper understanding of the components of the psyche, because the Self has an overview of the psyche. Our Self's perspective is free from the ego's distortions, such as, for example, a fear of the shadow. Better management of the psyche. Our psychological management -- ego management, shadow management, persona management, etc. -- is performed with a greater awareness and adeptness, because of the Self's knowledge and objectivity. A slackening of psychological battles. These include the battles of the ego against the shadow, the subpersonalities, the unconscious mind (as in repression), etc. We allow the Self to settle disputes internally with its intimate understanding of the parties involved. Since we do not cling to the ego's viewpoint, we can allow a compromise which is best for all. Also, when our ego is balanced by the Self, it is less likely to provoke external battles, which would engage us with the ego of another person. More resources. With our new comprehension of the psyche's elements, we can use those elements' attributes to contribute to our well-being and productivity. For example, we might gain better access to the unconscious mind's repressed memories, and the energy of the shadow's contents, and the formerly split-off qualities of our subpersonalities. Freedom. The Self accepts all "opposite" traits, including the ones which we selected for our ego and persona, and the contrary ones which we cast into the shadow. From the viewpoint of Self, we have a clear vision and objectivity regarding all of those traits, so we have the freedom and ability to reevaluate our selection, and perhaps redefine the ego and persona with this doubled repertoire of available, opposite traits. And because our identity is now invested in the wholistic Self, we have more leeway in choosing to commit, for example, a generous action or a selfish (i.e., tightly protective) action, without being bound to the ego's inflexible self-image (and resulting behavior) as a "selfish" or "generous" person. Detachment. The ego is in a world of boundaries, and schemes to expand those boundaries, and defenses against threats to the boundaries. The Self respects those priorities of the ego, but it is not engrossed in the ego's urgency and combativeness and emotional reactions; instead, it has a dispassionate, transcendent overview (which includes but is not limited to the ego's perspective). For example, whereas the ego might sense the emergence of contrary shadow material as a danger, the Self welcomes the occurrence as the awakening of a valid part of itself. When we are looking from the standpoint of Self, we are "detached" from the ego's desperate attempts at leadership, and we see that much of that desperation derives from the ego's cognizance that it truly is incompetent when claiming the leadership role which can be fulfilled adequately only by the Self. However, this detachment is not a cold withdrawal from life; instead, we might now engage life more robustly, because we do not suffer so much at the ego's inevitable setbacks in whatever new challenges we assume. Direction. When we realize that the Self has knowledge and power which are superior to that of the ego, we sensibly, strategically submit to this greater entity, and allow the ego to receive direction from it -- direction which might be contrary to the ego's short-sighted preferences. This submission is similar to that of a religious surrender to "the will of God"; some Jungian writers have said that the submission of the small self to the greater Self is like the crucifixion of Jesus, but the analogy is inaccurate because, unlike the human Jesus, the ego lives on, although in a different role. Individuality. Because the Self's inclusiveness allows a full spectrum from which to select behaviors and identity components, we become more obviously unique and "individual". Our individualism is charged with vitality and realness because we develop ourselves on the lines of the Self's destiny and life-plan instead of self-consciously creating ourselves from the ego's ideas of its own enhancement (primarily through material symbols of success, etc.)... source?

If people who do not understand each other at least understand that they do not understand each other, then they understand each other better than when, not understanding each other, they do not even understand that they do not understand each other.

"Every single problem that you have in your life, is the seed of an opportunity for some greater benefit. Stay alert to opportunities by being grounded in the wisdom of uncertainty! When your preparedness meets opportunity the solution will spontaneously appear

People often expect the other person to respond first in a positive way, instead of taking the initiative to create that possibility. I feel that's wrong; it can act as a barrier that just promotes a feeling of isolation from others. To overcome feelings of isolation and loneliness, your underlying attitude makes a tremendous difference - approaching others with the thought of compassion in your mind is the best way.

Too much of a self-centered attitude creates mistrust and suspicion in others, which can in turn lead to fear. But if you have more of an open mind, and you cultivate a sense of concern for others' well-being, then, no matter what others' attitudes are, you can keep your inner peace.

True happiness comes from having a sense of inner peace and contentment, which in turn must be achieved by cultivating altruism, love and compassion, and by eliminating anger, selfishness and greed.

‎"The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others."

Any conflict constellates the problem of the opposites.  Broadly speaking, "the opposites" refers to the ego and the unconscious.  This is true whether the conflict is recognized as an internal one or not, since conflicts with other people are really externalizations of an unconscious conflict within oneself. Because they are not made conscious, they are acted out on others.

‎"Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow."

The Attitude of Gratitude: Key that opens the Heart. The attitude of gratitude is a system of thought that creates feelings of appreciation, love, joy, and well being. This system of thought opens the gateway of the spiritual Heart, allowing access to higher qualities such as intuition, inner peace and guidance, and inspiration.
“ T...he moment one gives close attention to anything, even a blade of grass, it becomes a mysterious, awesome, indescribably magnificent world in itself.” Henry Miller

To make the right choices in life, you have to get in touch with your soul. To do this, you need to experience solitude, which most people are afraid of, because in the silence you hear the truth and know the solutions.

It is the psychiatric system which is 'mentally ill'. It continues to abuse valuable people who should be respected and supported in their own efforts to deal with important natural processes. These often highly intelligent and sensitive souls have issues which are more the concern of transpersonal psychologists than of medical doctors. There is a lot of information available but the usual psychiatrist is complacent in their ignorance and thrives on the sense of power and control which the system offers. There is an urgent need to transform the psychiatric institution so that it can properly function in a way which will contribute to the transformlation of humanity.

According to the law of Dharma, you have a unique talent and a unique way of expressing it. There is something that you can do better than anyone else in the whole world--and for every unique talent and unique expression of that talent, there are also unique needs. When these needs are matched wit...h the creative expression of your talent, that is the spark that creates affluence. Expressing your talents to fulfill needs creates unlimited wealth and abundance." ~Wise words of Deepak Chopra ~

There is nothing that you need in order to be perfectly happy. You only think that there is. Your deepest, most perfect happiness will be found within, and once you find it, nothing exterior to your Self can match it, nor can anything destroy it.

Compassion leads to action which is rational because it is based on the recognition that the other is a sentient being no different from oneself.

I believe that to meet the challenges of our times, human beings will have to develop a greater sense of universal responsibility. Each of us must learn to work not just for one self, one's own family or one's nation, but for the benefit of all humankind. Universal responsibility is the key to human survival. It is the best foundation for world peace.

Everyone wants happiness. No one wants suffering. Let that be the premise for response to the other. The result is a sense of compassion and rational action which is not only in the interest of the ot her but in one's own interest as well.

Compassion is understanding with humility and deep respect
To develop a sense of universal responsibility - of the universal dimension of our every act and of the equal right of all others to happiness and not to suffer - is to develop an attitude of mind whereby, when we see an opportunity to benefit others, we will take it in preference to merely looking after our own narrow interests.
Let us allow children to grow up so that they can be who they really are and not try to condition them to be who they really are not.
Joseph Campbell: ‎"This deed [the hero-quest] accomplished, life no longer suffers hopelessly under the terrible mutilations of ubiquitous disaster, battered by time, hideous throughout space; but with its horror visible still, its cries of anguish still tumultuous, it becomes penetrated by an all-suffusing, all-sustaining love, and a knowledge of its own unconquered power."
When you live your life with an appreciation of coincidences & their meanings, you connect with the underlying field of infinite possibilities.

To the extent that our experience of suffering reminds us of what everyone else also endures, it serves as a powerful inspiration to practice compassion and avoid causing others pain. And to the extent that suffering awakens our empathy and causes us to connect with others, it serves as the basis of compassion and love.

a distinction to be made between valid confidence or self-esteem, and conceit - which we can describe as an inflated sense of importance, grounded in a false image of self

Instead of creating expectations of what should or should not be
happening, cooperate with the form that this moment takes. Bring a 'yes'
to the isness, because it's pointless to argue if it already is. A
greater intelligence is available to you when you no longer reject,
deny, or 'don't want' what is.

Every day we normally experience three states of consciousness: Waking, dreaming and sleeping. But only by spending time in silence, stillness, or meditation do we experience a fourth state of consciousness where we start to glimpse our soul. When we glimpse our soul, we become a little more intuitive. We start to feel that things are not just what they seem to be; there is something more behind the scenes. The physical world we normally experience is a shadow of the real world. The real world, the world of spirit, exists behind a veil, and the veil is our own conditioning. In truth, we are not bound by the world of space, time, matter, and causation, but the veil prevents us from seeing this truth. It also prevents us from living in power, freedom, and grace.      In the fourth state of consciousness, we begin to sense the deeper reality that is orchestrating the physical world, and there is a tearing in the veil that separates the physical and spiritual realms. Just as we have to wake up from the dream state to experience waking consciousness, we have to wake up from what we call waking consciousness to glimpse our spirit, our inner self. This is called glimpsing the soul, and it’s the fourth state of consciousness. It’s simply to be in touch with our soul. This leads to the fifth state of consciousness, or cosmic consciousness, when our soul fully wakes up in waking, dreaming, and sleeping. Our body can be fast asleep, but our soul, the silent witness, is watching the body in deep sleep. Our body can be walking, and the silent witness is watching the body walk. Our awareness is localized in space time, and it’s non-local, or transcendent, at the same time. If we don’t interfere with nature’s intelligence, then we start to awaken into the sixth state of consciousness, divine consciousness. In divine consciousness, we see and feel the presence of spirit in everything. When we wake up in divine consciousness, we don’t just see a leaf, or a table, or a cloud, or a rainbow; we see the whole universe being all these things. Next, we waken to the seventh state of consciousness, which is unity consciousness. This is when the spirit inside us, which is now fully awake, merges with the spirit inside objects, which are also now fully awake. The universe is conscious, and because it is conscious, it is conscious of itself. So the eighth state of consciousness, infinite consciousness, is its own observer. The observer is the discontinuity, the gap, the off. (Deepak Chopra)

Our greatest loves are the ones who allow us, and encourage us, to be who we are at every moment and embrace us fully. They celebrate our growth, change, and differences, with excitment. They wipe away our tears, have a listening ear, and laugh with us.

Not only a human being undergoing a spiritual experience but a spiritual being undergoing a human experience...

One of the most effective ways to overcome anxiety is to try to shift the focus of attention away from self and toward others. When we succeed in this, we find that the scale of our own problems diminishes. This is not to say we should ignore our own needs altogether, but rather that we should try to remember others' needs alongside our own, no matter how pressing ours may be.

There is a common perception that compassion is, if not actually an impediment, at least irrelevant to professional life. Personally, I would argue that not only is it relevant, but that when compassion is lacking, our activities are in danger of becoming destructive. This is because when we ignore the question of the impact our actions have on others' well-being, inevitably we end up hurting them.

Not to forget that compassion increases intuitive insight which is necessary for accurate evaluation of the social environment. It is therefore extremely useful for authentc ethical living. Ethical living is the most effective mode for adaptation and survival.

If we can relate to others on the basis of equanimity, our compassion will not depend on the fact that so and so is my husband, my wife, my relative, my friend. Rather, a feeling of closeness toward all others can be developed based on the simple recognition that, just like myself, all wish to be happy and to avoid suffering. In other words, we will start to relate to others on the basis of their sentient nature.

Whatever relationships you have attracted in your life at this moment, are precisely the ones you need in your life, at this moment. There is a hidden meaning behind all events, and this hidden meaning is serving your own evolution.

Meaningful education is based on trust of human nature and recognition of the conditions required for development of human potential.
Let us allow children to grow up so that they can be who they really are and not try to condition them to be who they really are not.

On so called ‘failure’... As you look back on your life, know that you've failed at nothing--all you've done is produce certain resultsquired for development of human potential.

Every single problem that you have in your life, is the seed of an opportunity for some greater benefit. Stay alert to opportunities by being grounded in the wisdom of uncertainty! When your preparedness meets opportunity the solution will spontaneously appear!hopra ~

►“When one door closes, another opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us. ~ Alexander Graham Bell ~

If you want to reach a state of bliss, then go beyond your ego and the internal dialogue. Make a decision to relinquish the need to control, the need to be approved, and the need to judge. Those are the three things the ego is doing all the time. to be aware of them every time they come up.”

Satisfaction is characterized by inner peace. It arises from generosity, honesty and what I call ethical conduct, a way of behaving that respects others’ right to be happy.

Acceptance of suffering does not mean we should not do everything in our power to solve a problem whenever it can be solved. However, acceptance of the suffering that we are already undergoing helps us not to make it worse with the additional burden of mental and emotional suffering. For example, there is not much we can do about old age. Far better to accept our condition than to fret about it.

Peace is natural. Drama and chaos are fleeting and cannot be sustained. Follow Peace, Become one with Peace. Those who follow drama and become one with chaos find themselves alone, powerless and disconnected. Be the source of Peace.

·                                  Making the Shift from Ambition to Meaning doesn’t mean that we lose our drive and ambition; it signifies that we become ambitious about something new. We make a commitment to living a life based on experiencing meaning and feeling purposeful, rather than a life based on never-ending demands and false promises that are the trademark of the ego’s agenda.·

There's no such thing as a bad meditation. Any time you spend in silence is valuable, even if your inner voice is persistent and loud. Don't judge it; just observe it. Simply observe yourself sitting there, and when a stray thought suddenly appears, just note it, and use its presence as a reminder to go back to the silence.

Eckhart Tolle Untouched by any happening or event is the eternal 'I amness' that underlies all the manifestations. You can look at the manifestations and recognize yourself, the one in every manifestation. You recognize the beingness, not through words but through stillness. And in that moment you recognize yourself in the other and the sense of separation goes away that was created by excessive thinking. And there is love.

The need for perfection is ego-based and comes with a daily session of self punishment as the desired result is never achieved. The ego thrives on this failure as when we are in pain the ego is more alive. Excellence on the other hand comes with enough humility to know that even our best will never be perfect. As pure essence, we know and love that about ourselves.

We can't be useful to ourselves unless we're useful to others. Whether we like it or not, we're all connected, and it is unthinkable to be happy all by oneself. Anyone concerned only by his own well-being will suffer eventually. Anyone concerned with the well-being of others takes care of himself without even thinking about it. Even if we decide to remain selfish, let us be intelligently selfish - let us help others

Dalai LamaDalai Lama At one level, forgiveness means you shouldn’t develop feelings of revenge. Revenge harms the other person, it is a form of violence and usually leads to counterviolence – so the problem never goes away. At another level, forgiveness means you should try not to develop feelings of anger toward your enemy. Anger doesn’t solve the problem, it brings uncomfortable feelings to yourself and destroys your peace of mind.solve the problem, it brings uncomfortable feelings to yourself and destroys your own peace of mind.

It’s very important not to misunderstand what is meant by the idea of overcoming our self-cherishing attitudes. We are not saying that a spiritual practitioner should completely ignore or abandon the goal of self-fulfilment, rather we are advising him or her to overcome that small-minded selfishness that makes us oblivious to the well being of others and to the impact our actions have on them.ious to the wellbeing of others and to the impact our actions can have on t

One of the best ways to begin familiarizing ourselves with the virtue of patience is to reflect systematically on its benefits. It is the source of forgiveness. It has no equal in protecting our concern for others, however they behave towards us. When patience is combined with the ability to discriminate between the action and the one who does it, forgiveness arises naturally.

Compassion is like a sense of caring, of concern for others’ difficulties and pain. Not only family and friends, but all other people, even enemies. If we think only of ourselves and forget about other people, our minds occupy a very small area and even tiny problems appear very big. When you develop concern for others, your mind automatically widens; your own problems, even big ones, will not be so significant

Peace does not mean no more conflict among humanity. Conflict is bound to happen, so in order to keep peace in spite of conflict, the only realistic method is the spirit of dialogue, respecting the other side and understanding their viewpoint. We need to try and solve problems in a spirit of brotherhood and sisterhood, in a spirit of reconciliation and compromise.

A compassionate attitude opens our inner door, and as a result it is much easier to communicate with others. If there is too much self-centered attitude, then fear, doubt and suspicion come and as a result our inner door closes. Then it is very difficult to communicate with others.

With a basic understanding of all humans as brothers and sisters, we can appreciate the usefulness of different systems and ideologies that can accommodate different individuals and groups with different cultural heritages, having different dispositions and tastes. Each person has the right to choose whatever is most s.uitable, on the basis of a deep understanding of all others as brothers and sisters...

The great benefit of science is that it can contribute tremendously to the alleviation of suffering at the physical level, but it is only through the cultivation of the qualities of the human heart and the transformation of our attitudes that we can begin to address and overcome our mental suffering. In other words, the enhancement of human values is indispensable to our quest for happiness.e enhancement of fundamental values is indispensable to our basic quest for happiness.

Cultivating compassion for others automatically puts the mind at ease. It is a constant source of energy, confidence and determination. It helps remove whatever fears or insecurities we may have and gives us the inner strength we need to cope with any obstacles we encounter. It is the ultimate source of success in life.

Some people think that cultivating compassion is good for others but not necessarily good for themselves, but this is wrong. You are the one who benefits most directly since compassion immediately instills in you a sense of calm, inner strength, and a deep confidence and satisfaction, whereas it is not certain that the object of your feeling of compassion will benefit.

A mind committed to compassion is like an overflowing reservoir. This mind can also be likened to a seed; when cultivated, it gives rise to many other qualities, such as forgiveness, tolerance, to overcome fear and insecurity.

You are not what you think you are…Your mind is the most amazing tool on earth. But the fact of the matter is that most people don't use this tool correctly. Unfortunately it uses them and becomes their greatest source of misery and unhappiness. You believe that you are your mind. You are your thoughts. This is the great illusion. Your mind has taken over and now has all the power. It tells you what you can and can't achieve, limiting beliefs … Your thoughts are your greatest predicament… If you do not take back control, your thoughts will be your greatest source of suffering. If you can't turn off your mind whenever you choose then your mind is using you, you are it's slave…  you're a prisoner of your own “mind made” illusion. The good news is that you can now easily free yourself from your compulsivethoughts and take back full control, feel an indescribable sense of liberation and freedom as you rapidly transcend to your true source, the place of presence, the place of  your natural state of being which is usually obscured by your mind. As the days go by your sense of stillness and peace will deepen even further. In fact, there is no end to its depth. …escape your compulsive thoughts and enter the stillness you then begin to realize that there is a vast realm of intelligence beyond thought… thought is only a tiny part of that greater intelligence.  all the things that truly matter – love, creativity, joy, inner peace – arise from beyond your mind. You are then well on your way to an enlightened life. You are touched by the simple miracle of being alive, by the wonder and perfection of nature. Slowly you become aware of your own heart as a place of infinite love. You are at peace, you have returned to your true self. I have a friend who is plagued by panhandlers when he walks to work. For a while he ignored them, but it was impossible. After wrestling with his anger and guilt – for he did want to do the right thing – he collected change in his pockets, and no matter who asked him, he gave something. Immediately his anger vanished. And then his eyes opened, he saw that these people really are lost and alone, and it is an act of cruelty for him to withhold the meager amount they want.

It feels remarkable when petty anger can be transformed to so noble a feeling as compassion. Yet in this case it happened in a moment, thanks to a simple shift in perception. The true self doesn’t goad us into being good. It takes our existing impulses and views them in a new light. Insight opens the gates of the heart.

Many times a day each of us feels the impulse, however, faint, of saintliness. Walk down a city street for ten minutes and you see all around you reasons to give, to help, to offer charity and compassion, to forgive, and perhaps even to love.

In each situation, the need to cut oneself off is present, because that has been a long habit, but a fresher impulse also arises. The true self is sending these new signals.

Notice and feel them. Dwell on them instead of pushing them down. Avoid your habit of turning away or being too afraid to act. Act when you can. Appreciate your own goodness and congratulate yourself whenever you move closer, if by an inch, to your true self. That’s the program, and it is a simple one.

The credo of the true self is joy with detachment. The joy comes from no longer having to cling to a small, defended territory. The detachment comes from having such wide awareness that everything is at once yours and not yours.

Not to confuse freedom with license. License is freedom without a sense of resonsibility so 'immoral freedom'. Freedom on the higher level of human consciousness is 'moral freedom'. So it is important for everyone to evolve to a higher level of consciousness. We need education for complete human development... education for the person as a whole or 'holistic education'.

We are all the same. We are all human beings and we all have the same huma,n aspirations. Stop the insanity. Don't go along with projections of 'the enemy' onto other people. Look in the mirror.

One can wake up from ordinary reality just as one can wake up from the dream state. This is because the reality as we perceive it is a projection of our ego. Egocentric perception is a distortion of reality as a whole and so we need to raise our level of consciousness to the level beyond ego. This is 'waking up'. At the transpersonal level of consciousness perception is holistic and understanding is possible.

People's ignorance of god consciousness or 'divinity' perpetuates belief in 'gods' as external to human nature.

The elite rely upon us to maintain the level of control that they have To diminish the extent of their control, we must transform ourselves. Each person can change the world by transforming themselves.

Fundamentally, all religions have the same message. The problem is people's ignorance, innacurate evaluation, misunderstanding and misinterpretation which leads to corruption of the true meaning of religions and overemphasis on their superficial differences.

Organized religions suffer from corruption of meaning due to ignorance of the human need for connection with the divine core of human nature (see original derivation of the word 'religio' Latin to bind etc. ). Morality is a function of mature moral consciousness or 'conscience' which depends on humane social conditions for complete psychological and moral or 'spiritual' development. Mature conscience is the biologically based mechanism of guidance for ethical living required for intelligent adaptation and therfore survival of the organism and of the social species 'homo sapiens'.

Dear Buddha, since I have been able to return home to myself and recognize the root of my suffering in the realm of my perceptions, I no longer blame God or human beings for my suffering. I am able to listen to the suffering of others and help them recognize that the root of their suffering lies in their perceptions. I shall use the practice of deep listening and compassionate listening to increase my ability to understand and love people. I shall not blame them. I know that once I have understood people I am able to accept them and to love them....I will be able to let go of wrong perceptions, I will be happy and free.(onlinee monastery)

The profiteering warmongers are people as well... to be fearful, ignorant and apathetic only provides them with the power they need to carry out their evil plans.

Reinvent education so as to cultivate intellectual and moral development producing creative intelligence, critical consciousness and conscience i.e. education of the person as a whole or 'holistic education'. Holistic education is based on respect for human psychological needs - higher spiritual needs as well as lower ego and esteem needs.

People ignore the information because it engenders a sense of vulnerability which is too much to deal with. We need to understand that so-called 'education' has been hijacked in order to keep the people immature and so to disempower them. We must press for true education which aims for development of critical consciousness and self-empowerment (education for the person as a whole or 'holistic education').

Liberty as self-ownership is a function of responsibilty to oneself.

Respect for universl human rights includes respect for children's rights... the right to education with freedom for growth to maturity through learning which is meaningful because it engages character development ('education for the personality as a whole i.e. 'holistic education').

We need to understand the importance of love and respect for children as the grow and develop into mature adults of conscience. It is ignorance of human nature through conditioning and arrested psychological development which leads to misperception and misinterpretation of other people's behaviour. People in positions of power who trample on the right of others often have had their own rights trampled on as they were growing up in loveless social environments. As adults they resort to psychological defense mechanisms which enable them to avert their responsibility to themselves to understand themselves. For this reason we must all work together for a universal education which cultivates every child's right to develop into a complete human being... see education for the person as a whole or 'holistic education'.

The aim of education is the cultivation of intelligence as a function of moral or 'spiritual' development i.e. 'creative intelligence'. Consequently
the transpersonal vision is vital to intelligent education for human development and survival of the human species. (www.holisticeducator.com) ..

Problems of world... due to education which arrests human development and fosters egotism as the origin of corruption etc. We need education which fosters intuitive intelligence of complete human development or 'holistic education'.

"...the problems of the world today are only in existence due to corruption". It can also be said that the problems of the world are due to education which arrests human development and fosters egotism as the origin of corruption etc. We need education which fosters intuitive intelligence of complete human development i.e. 'holistic education'.

Pursuit of profit and greed is characteristic of egocentric behaviour resulting from arrested human development and so NOT human nature. Human nature is a function of complete psychological (includes moral or 'spiritual' development)

"The unloved hate..."(Chalie Chaplin speech) The problems of our world originate in the loveless environments in which many children are forced to grow up into unloved and therefore incomplete and human beings. Unconditional love is a biological necessity for human development because it is food for the developing conscience as moral consciousness or 'spirit'. Our species survival depends on our ability as a species to mature and treat each other and our children with love and respect.

See holistic education as the practice of freedom for growth though learning.(www.HolisticEducator.com)

Freedom is often misunderstood as meaning ‘freedom to do whatever you want’ or freedom to be irresponsible. This is a function of immaturity. A mature sense of freedom ot ‘true freedom’ implies a natural sense of responsibility (self-empowerment) because it is a function of moral consciousness or 'free morality'. See holistic education for self-empowerment through responsible freedom….

The problem is education for mechanical intelligence without conscience (standardized curricula,, testing etc.). It is far easier and much better to educate for cultivation of moral intelligence. See 'holistic education'.

People should care about their relationship with planet earth. Why would they want to destroy their home? They must be in sane!

Important to have faith in the human spirit... developed moral consciousness or 'conscience'. No one can censor that. In the meantime it would be wise for people to keep their political views to themselves and just share their wisdom.

True intelligence is creative because it involves full development of moral consciousness or 'conscience'. Intelligence without conscience is destructive.

It is time to change misdirected educational policies. Education does not mean social conditioning and indoctrination. It means providing the conditions of freedom which are required for cultivation of moral intelligence. See 'holistic education'.

People without rich inner resources must feed their egos with the so-called’ riches’ of external resources. The problems of our world basically originate in arrested human development... arrested at the egocentric level of moral development. We need to offer our children an education (includes upbringing) which allows them to develop their potential for moral and therefore creative intelligence i.e.'holistic education'. Our species survival depends on it.

I feel that the Alzheimer problem today is largely a result of misunderstanding of the function of education the true aim of which should be to cultivate natural creative intelligence. It is necessary to press for education which is based on the natural principles of brain functioning and allows for the freedom to cultivate the brain's natural processing functions (includes remembering or 'memory')... that is 'brain-based learning'. Education must be based on the principle of freedom to think for oneself... education for complete development of the personality as a whole or 'holistic education'.

Let children cultivate their own intelligence, respect their right to think for themselves and acknowledge their thoughts.

We are all one. It is time to go beyond our fear-based consciousness and rise to the higher more intelligent level of love-based consciousness in order to resolve our human problems in a way which is effective and adaptive. Failure to do so will result in the extinction of our species. Is that what you want?

One important thing each person can do... treat young people with respect as peers, as intellectual equals and discuss the issues with them The impact can be very positive.

Treat young people with respect as peers, as intellectual equals, not as inferior beings. The result is energizing and enjoyable for teachers and students alike.

Congress Act of 1871 replaced original 'Constitution for the united states of America' as a country with 'The Constitution OF The United States of America' as the corporation which it is today.

« Some people are so poor they only have monney » Poor is the person who doesn't recognise the value of their own soul and will give it away for the illusory value of money.

The issue (Julian assange) is the evolution of humanity and the right of each human being to function on the higher level of human consciousness from which one lives by the higher human values or 'metavalues'... creative intelligence, truth, justice and love. Our survival as a species depends on it.

Essentially the issue is the evolution of humanity and the right of each human being to function on the higher level of human consciousness from which one lives by the higher human values or 'metavalues'... moral and therefore creative intelligence, truth, justice, wisdom of compassion, peace and love. Our survival as a species depends on it.
Essentially the issue is the evolution of humanity. Every human being has the right to function on the higher level of human consciousness from which our lives are guided by the higher human values or 'metavalues'... truth, justice, peace and wisdom of compassion (i.e. 'love') as the basis for moral and therefore creative intelligence which is required for our survival as a species.

The world needs Julian and all people with inquiring minds. Ignorance and fear of truth is a threat to human species survival.

Understand the logic... Ignorance breeds fear because the lack of knowledge and understanding makes it impossible to adapt intelligently to a given social situation. The fear naturally translates to hatred then to conflict and war. The most dangerous kind ignorance is ignorance of the of the nature of human nature. This ignorance has already created havoc in human history. The human species is doomed if it continues to mistrust its own nature. So each person should have knowledge and understanding of themselves. Only then can they have understanding of others. In order to change the world we need to change ourselves. Children are the future. We need to provide them with education which allows them to develop completely into mature human beings who know their own potential and live by natural laws of human integrity. We need education for development of the human personality or 'holistic education'.

Ignorance is a willful neglect or refusal to acquire knowledge. It is to not widen one’s own perspective in order to see a broader truth. The ultimate truth therefore is where there is absolutely no ignorance, meaning where the perspective or consciousness has become one with all that there is. In Buddhism ignorance (Avidyā) is seen as the primary cause of suffering. Liberation is Enlightenment. Another relevant quote by Confucius is "Ignorance is the night of the mind, but a night without moon and star." (not my text… one I saw on facebook Knowledge is Power)

Power of human emotion as spirituality is personal power of moral responsibility or 'self-empowerment'...

National referendums by popular vote will work only if the citizens of the country are properly educated, that is completely developed psychologically so 'mature'. Maturity is the basis for true freedom and democracy and depends on democratic education for cultivation of morally responsible intelligence or 'creative intelligence' …See 'holistic education'.

Emotional intelligence… harnessing the emotions in the service of performance and learning… in flow the emotions are not just contained and channelled but positive and energized… they are aligned with the task at hand… being utterly absorbed in what one is doing and giving one’s undivided (focused) attention, merging awarenes with action, losing track of time and space, forgetting oneself, losing self-consciopusness (‘ego-less), ‘peak performance’, intinsically motivated People who have a sense of self-efficacy bounce back from failures; they approach things in terms of how to handle them rather than worrying about what can go wrong…. Being able to enter the state of flow represents emotional intelligence at its best…

It is the unbalanced value systems of these egocentric adults which inflict grave harm on our species and our planet. The problem is arrested human development.

These power freaks are inhuman. We can turn this around if we have education which is based on trust of human nature and dedication to fulfillment of human potential and human empowerment...

The future is children. We all need to press for a meaningful education which enables them to develop their full potential... education for development of the personality as a whole or 'holistic education'.

Victoria gives us hope for the future. People committing the fraud she talks about tend to underestimate people's intelligence. Never underestimate the intelligence of the young. All children must be given the appropriate conditions of freedom to grow through learning... the key is intrinsic motivation

Excellent. Never underestimate the intelligence of the young. All children must be given the appropriate conditions of freedom to grow through learning. The key is intrinsic motivation.

A society of open minds depends on education which provides the right conditions of freed which children need to grow through learning which opens their minds i.e. education for complete development or 'holistic education'....

Wisdom is intuitive intelligence which depends for its cultivation on freedom to grow through learning... i.e. 'spiritual freedom'. Education as conditioning and indoctrination prevents the cultivation of wisdom.

The most you can do to help others is not to get involved too much ... just enough give them the confidence they need to help themselves.

World revolution should incorporate revolution in education based on children’s need to grow through learning in conditions of freedom (spiritual) so that they can cultivate their intrinsic potential for intelligence with the rationality of moral consciousness or ‘conscience’ which is required for all citizens of a true democracy... i.e. ‘education for the petrsonality as a whole or ‘holistic education’.

Natural wisdom is not only the result of book knowedge but of creative intelligence. One can read all the books in the world and still not be intelligent in the sense of moral intelligence which results from development of moral consciousness or 'conscience'. The degree of rationality of concience is a function of lthe evel of consciousness which one has reached in a personal process of moral development. The human species depends for its survival on the highest levels of consciousnessness... the spiritual domain or spiritual love i.e. 'spiritualty'. The lack of spirituality guarantees its continuied demise to extinction. Consequently we need to implement a universal education based on love of children, respect for their developmental needs and cultivation of their intrinsic potential for complete human development.

Ignorance of the nature of human nature is our problem. Human nature as is meant to be depends on complete psychological development. This includes development of the moral or 'spiritual' dimension. All children need love for that. If they don't get they can become spiritiually crippled psychopaths.

People need to evolve personally from ego to essence... and live on the transpersonal level of human consciousness. So-called 'God' is god-consciousness. That is what Jesus was trying to explain using difficult metaphorical langage which he learned in India. The problem is ignorance of the real meaning of religions. The real meaning of apocalyse is 'lifting of the veil'... we are waking up to the need to evolve on a personal level. e are all the same...we have the same human aspirations.

Christians are in trouble because they do not understand the true meaning of Jesus teachings (God is Love). We must 'find Jesus' in the sense that we must find our own divine source... our own soul. The voice speaking to you in your dreams is the voice of your own divine source... your own conscience. There is indeed a need for Christianity to evolve and if you read and listen to philosopher Ken Wilber you will see that many people are concerned about the future of Christianity. Basically we are all the same and all the organized religions are in danger of dying if they focus on dogma and the differences between them rather than understanding their essence and respecting the similarities of all peoples and the unity of humankind.

.Jesus tried to teach the message of love to the world (God is Love). God is our godconsciousness... the divinity within the human soul. Christians arer in trouble because they don't understand the meanings of Jesus’ teaching. There is a movement for the evolution of Christianity... read and listen to philosopher Ken Wilber. The voice talking to you is your own conscience. We must look into our own soul to find Jesus in the sense that he represents our divinity.

The word 'freedom' is basically misunderstood in this 'land of the free and home of the brave'. Freedom is perceived as external freedom -freedom of action. This only works out if people are morally responsible. The problem is that children are already imprisoned in the schools because they are not given the freedom to become morally responsible adults. Real freedom is in fact freedom of moral responsibility or 'internal freedom'. This is freedom from conditioning and freedom from the fear which results from it. Children everywhere need education for complete personality development i.e. 'holistic education'.

Real freedom is in fact freedom of moral responsibility or 'internal freedom'. This is freedom from conditioning and freedom from the fear which results from it. So it turns out that the concepts of freedom, democracy and so on must be re-examined carefully and implemented in the context of the true meaning of these emotionally laden words which are used extensively for political clout.

We are self-destructing. It is time to put an end to the authoritarianism, deception and abuse. We need to offer children an education which allows them spiritual freedom for complete psychological development. Only then can humanity become compassionate and creatively intelligent. Our species survival depends on it.

Population naturally stabilizes with higher standard of living...and higher spiritual plane for everyone will reduce population.

Psychopaths are not that way for genetic reasons. They are created. Psychopathy is a disorder resulting from lack of love and respect for children developmental needs. It is ‘moral insanity’ because it results from the arrest of moral or ‘spiritual development. The disorder is a psychological defense mechanism with some characteristics being rewarded in certain highly materialistic societies. Psyc hopathy can be prevented by implementing educational pomlies based on the need for childrens’ engagement of their responsibility to themselves for their complete growth and development as integrated personalities. This kind of education aims to cultivate moral intelligence. Education for development of the personality as a whole is known by many names such as ‘holistic education’ or ‘democratic education’.

Intuition is sub-conscious bringing 'gut feeling' or sense of 'knowing' into conscious mind... by way of feeling or thought.... intuition serves mostly with 'warning signs’...

Not to mock or blame the religons.... that can be offensive and create animosity if faith in a religion is felt to be a matter of personal choice. It is better be tolerant and understand the origins of ignorance. The problem is always one of interpretation and this is based on individual level of consciousness. Misunderstanding comes from misinterpretaion. The word 'religion' is derived from 'religare' the Latin word for "to reconnect, to bind together".... the ancient human longing for meaning and oneness, inspiring spiritual development for wholeness. Most organized religions are politically corrupt. There is a need for religions to evolve. But the responsibility lies with each individual to engage their own personal moral or 'spiritual' evolution, no matter what tgheir professed religion. To be 'religious' one must be connected with the divinity in one's human nature. With all due respect, people who remain disconnected with their own spiritual core are not helping humanity to solve its human problems. This is because they focus on what divides us (cause for war)and not on what unites us (source of peace). We are spiritual beings and our species depends on spiritual development for its very survival.

Even though formal education in so-called 'wester countries' may be light years away from that in other countries, it is the philosophy behind it which is most important. In western countries that philosophy might even be light years behind other countries. In any event, children are not to be treated as objects to be taught but as subjects to be provided with conditions of respect and freedom of to ask questions and learn. Learning must actively engage psychological development.

This includes spiritual growth to maturity of character. The problem with a lot of formal education is that it can produce people with the skills and knowledge of mechanical intelligence but without the intuition and wisdom which comes with the development of 'creative intelligence'. Creative intelligence is what we need for the resolution of our human problems, effective adaptation and survival of our species. We mut educate the child 'as a whole'.

We are a species too stupid to understand the nature of our own human personality or 'human nature'. We are so stupid that we destroy ourselves and our fellow species. The majority of us don't even know that to prevent our own extinction as a species, each of us has to evolve personally so that we can all survive as a truly social species. The mess we make of our human affairs is truly deplorable.

We need to promote universal education of children based on natural laws of human development, that is education for the complete development of human potential. All children have the right to an education which offers them the freedom to grow through learning... education for spiritual freedom and social intelligiance require for mutual and peaceful cooperation in the resolution of human problems... so-called 'holistic education'.

So-called 'religions' which engage in social conditioning and mind-control do not serve humanity if in so doing they inhibit personal moral ('spiritual') development. The religions must evolve.

Children naturally know how to think not what to think. Human intelligence is the natural function of a brain which has evolved over millions of years. Adults who think they know how to think have already been taught what to think and should not be teaching children how to think. Give children the conditions of freedom which are appropriate for the development of their potential intelligence

No delusions here. The point made in this excellent presentation... the word 'illuminati' which means the ‘enlightened ones’ has been corrupted and the power of enlightenment has been hijacked by the corrupted power elites. Their 'reign of terror is over' in the sense that it is up to not to fear them but to understand and to pity them because they are internally poor and barren. They are spiritual cripples and we need not be afraid of them any more. Fear is an emotion which involves giving of power over us. We can limit this power through the choices we make. We must realise that it is the unenlightened who are fearful of the power that we have ourselves to act in our own and everyone else's interest. We must trust ourselves and each other. It is up to all of us to raise our level of consciousness, reclaim love and light and thus become enlightened. With true enlightenment, we can make morally intelligent responsible choices and in this way be happy and prosperous.

The word 'illuminati' means the ‘enlightened ones’ and has been corrupted. Don't give power to the corrupted illuminati who have hijacked the power of enlightenment. It is we who need to reclaim love and light. It is we who must raise our level of consciousness and become enlightened. · Disturbing emotions not only disturb our own state of mind, they also disturb the minds of others. Self-centredness gives rise to fear and insecurity, which in turn creates distrust. This is why having an altruistic attitude brings a great sense of happiness and peace of mind.(dalai lama facebook)

The imprisoned mind is the conditioned mind. Give children the freedom they need to grow through learning.

Open-mindedness is an aspect of complete human development or 'maturity'.

True freedom is internal... freedom of thought in the sens e of 'critiical thinking'. We need the 'right' education for the young education which cultivates critical thinking. How create the next generation of critical thinkers? Align educational policies with principles of natural human development, that is teach to the 'whole child'. This is 'holistic education'.

A better world depends on the 'right' education for the young. How create the next generation of critical thinkers? Align educational policies with principles of natural human development, that is teach to the 'whole child'. This is 'holistic education'.

War is a manifestation of ego fixation… human insanity… resulting from arrested human development. Peace is a function of the higher consciousness states... attainable through complete development of the human personality or 'human nature'. Human nature is a naturally social nature and the human animal is a naturally social and therefore peaceful animal.

Homo sapiens is a naturally social animal species. However intelligent socialization depends on the 'right' education of the young . Tyranny starts with the indoctirnation of children. The real aim of true education is the provision of conditions of freedom to grow through learning and the cultivation of creative intelligence... 'holistic education'.

Spanking is criminal. Punishment of children and their subsequent humiliation is the basis for dysfunctional psychological development and cultivation of psychopathy. 'Psychopaths' are sick souls who become the control freaks of the world who will end up destroying everything if we don't stop the punishment of children.

Although violence and the use of force may appear powerful and decisive, their benefits are short-lived. Violence can never bring a lasting and long term resolution to any problem, because it is unpredictable and for every problem it seems to solve, others are created. On the other hand, truth remains constant and will ultimately prevail.(facebook daali lama)

Schools teach children not to think for themselves but to cultivate blind allegiance to state authorities. This is fundamental to the establishment of a fascist state.

Congratulations Jada (williams?) You are intelligent and should not be mistreated because you happen to make interesting observations. If people are offended it means they don't like to see other people's truth because it might reflect their own which they don't want to know about. They have a problem. Your job is to try to understand them and not judge them for their ignorance. Keep going. Cultivate your own intelligence even if teachers are not interested. Intelliigence is required for life. and cultivation of intelligence is the real purpose of education. The world needs you. Maybe one day you can be a teacher yourself and encourage other children to cultivate their intelligence in spite of the odds.

"All we have to do is awaken the power in the people..." Start with the children. Offer them an education (from Latin 'educare' meaning 'to lead out') providing the conditions they need for the complete development of their potential for creative intelligence and integrity i.e education of the person as a whole or 'holistic education'. Holistic education aims for personal empowerment.

Aim of real education is cultivation of creative intelligence or 'empowerment' and social intelligence or 'peace'.

It is time to implement educational policies which aim to cultivate natural human intelligence and integrity i.e. education for the total human personality or 'holistic education'.

It is what we make out of what we have, not what we are given

that separates one person from another.

The human species is a social species which depends for its survival on development of its potential for social intelligence. Failure to develop the intelligence required for social adaptation or ‘peace’ is guaranteed to lead to extinction of our species.

"The practice of patience protects us from losing our composure. In doing that it enables us to exercise discernment, even in the heat of difficult situations. It gives us inner space. And within that space we gain a degree of self-control, which allows us to respond to situations in an appropriate and compassionate manner rather than being driven by our anger and irritation." (Dalai Lama Facebook)

The problem of humanity is arrested development.... arrested at the ego level. Transformation of the world depends on personal transformation. We need universal education for complete human development to the level beyond ego... the level of moral or spiritual values. Our species survival depends on education for development of the human personality or ‘human nature’… holistic education.

A sustainable future depends on freedom in education as freedom to explore and freedom to grow through learning i.e. ‘holistic education'.

Our species is in danger of extinction. It is time to redefine the word 'god' as the love upon which human survival depends.

Sharing is a natural humanitarian impulse which tends to be forgotten with social conditioning based on the inhibition of complete human development.

Wisdom comes through the observation and understanding of everyday incidents in human relationship.
Human evolution cannot continue in the right direction without personal evolution as the expansion of consciousness and the cultivation of intuitive (creative) intelligence.

The problem is arrested human development.... arrested at the ego level. lTransformation of the world depends on personal transformation. We need uiniversal education for complete human development to the level beyond ego... the level of moral or spiritual values. Our species survival depends on education for development of the human personality or ‘human nature’… holistic education.

Love for truth is a function of the higher states of human consciousness. We must offer our children an education which respects their need to develop fully... education for development of the person as a whole or 'holistic education'.

Spiritual Enlightenment means to know the Essence of who you really are. The true Self is the silent observer; illusory self iis created by the mind. To discover your real Self ask the question "who is aware that I am thinking?" The mind is a superb instrument if used correctly. Used wrongly it can be very destructive. If you believe that you are your mind you are unconsciously identified with it then you are its slave the mind is using you and the result is delusion. It's almost as if you were possessed without knowing it, and so you take the possessing entity to be yourself. The beginning of freedom is the realization that you are not the thinker. Knowing this enables you to observe the thinking entity. The moment you start watching the thinker, a higher level of consciousness becomes activated. You then begin to realize that there is a vast realm of intelligence beyond thought, that thought is only a tiny aspect of that intelligence. You also realize that all the things that truly matter - beauty, love, creativity, joy, inner peace - arise from beyond the mind. You begin to awaken.

The problem is arrested human development. Capitalism is destructive because it rewards human motivation by needs for security, self-esteem and belongingness - the 'ego- needs’. Capitalism is failing because it is without conscience. Reformed capitalism for sustainability requires an education system based on principles of complete human development... development of the human personality as a whole i.e.'holistic education'.

… making sincere efforts to comply with social and cultural forces which bear down heavily on the individual’s freedom to maintain their personal integrity and sense of dignity in the undignified world around them. Instead of going along with other people’s indignities which is what most people do to ‘adapt’ one must consistently have the moral courage and be prepared to endure considerable personal suffering. The ‘price’ to use undignified word one has to pay for the privelege of living on one’s own terms if they happen to conflict with the forces one is up against (capitalism, cathocism etc.) social pressures on the the subconscious mind. Life gets unbearably difficult when we must continue to have faith in our own resources. Unfortunately it is the people with few inner resources who often have the upper hand &and we can be overwhelmed if we continue to have faith in them. But if we are courageous and intelligent enough… continue to be curious and wise, observe and reflect. We learn as we get older and life continues to be interesting. Important to share experiences with the rest of the huma n family which is also struggling to come to terms with the dilemmas of the human condition.

So-called 'evil' results from the inhibition of human development. We need education based on natural laws of human development and respect for human needs... as well as physiological and physical needs, education based on respect for lower psychological needs for security, self-esteem and belongingness or 'ego needs' and 'higher' psychchological needs for moral or 'spiritual' development or 'metaneeds'.

The beginning of love is to let those we love be perfectly themselves, and not to twist them to fit our own image. Otherwise we love only the reflection of ourselves we find in them

For people to be empowered and thus responsible for solving human global issues in the future, they must first (as children) be offered an education which respects their need for freedom to grow through meaningful learning i.e. 'holistic education'.

World peace depends on education which cultivates peaceful people everywhere. Education for peace is education for complete human development or 'holistic education'.

We need an education system which allows for development of critical intelligence instead of of an oppressive system which indoctrinates and stifles imagination.

We need a consciousness raising education for children growing up so that they can become intelligent and honest critical thinking mature adults i.e. education for complete human development or 'holistic education'.

The biological function of spirituality: The human species is a social species which depends for creative adaptation and survival on moral consciousness or ‘morality’ of rational conscience. The realm of moral values or ‘spiritual values’ of developed conscience is a function complete psychological development or ‘spirituality’. Spiritual development depends on connection with others through unconditional love which foregoes judgement and implies self-evaluation. Spiritual essence of the human being is the source of guiding principles for ethical living TO BE CONTINUED….
Wars will stop when people become fully human... completely unselfish so peaceful and compassionate. This is possible with self-transcendance or 'enlightenment' through right education '(holistic education')

Don't take anything personally. Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won't be the victim of needless suffering.

"Ask not who is the enemy. Ask who you are." As far as 'aiding the enemy', the enemy is us. We fight enemies which we create out of ignorance and fear.

Psychopaths were children too... and their psychological needs were not met and that is why they are psychopaths. We need education based on fulfillment of children’s psychological needs required for development of moral consciousness or 'conscience'... education for complete development of the person as a whole... the person’s humanness ('holistic education').

Development of human conscience (compassion, empathy) is a in the name of function of complete psychological development, not 'moral training' in the name of religions. Psychopaths can be moralists who think they are superior to 'the masses'.

People need to 'look in the mirror' and face their own 'demons' rather than project them onto others. People must raise their level of consciousness from the level of self-interest or 'ego' to the higher level beyond ego - the level of empathy, compassion and peace. If each person would transform themselves we could change the world. The elites rely upon the ignorance and apathy of 'the people' to maintain the level of control that they have. It is through self-transformation (waking up or 'enlightenment') that we have the power to eradicate their control.

We need education which cultivates complete development to personal maturity and critical intelligence... 'holistic education'.

We need to offer our children an education which gives them conditions of freedom to be themselves and allows them to develop their own potential... that is education for development of the person as a whole or 'holistic education'. www.HolisticEducator.com

Monsters are human…The problem is that the 'human' monsters are that way because they are not fully human... they have not developed their human moral consciousness or 'conscience' and so become morally deficient or 'dehumanized'. It is the dehumanized humans who are the monsters.

Interesting that the caption is placed with a picture of a Catholic nun. The problem with this view is that it implies a deep mistrust of human nature. This mistrust is the root cause of our human problems. To say that all monsters are human is wrong in the sense that the 'human' monsters are that way because they are not fully human... they have not developed their human moral consciousness or 'conscience' and so become morally deficient or 'dehumanized' and so not fully human. It is the dehumanized humans who are the monsters.

Adhering to irrational beliefs is what closes the mind and creates conflict. Better to keep the mind open by asking questions thus encouraging respect for other people's views. This makes life more interesting because discussion and dialogue provide food for rational thought.

Just a thought...In essence this is not as much about history and politics in its narrow sense. We must begin to analyse these deplorable events in terms of the phenomenon of human politics as an emergent property of the workings of our social brain. We are a social species which depends for its survival on complete development of the human potential for social intelligence or 'humanisation'. What we are witnessing is really all about the uniintelligent behaviour of dehumanized people whose psychological development has been arrested. That is why "they are fools." www.HolisticEducator.com

DALAI LAMA’S WORDS
However capable and skillful an individual may be, left alone, he or she will not survive. When we are sick or very young or very old, we must depend on the support of others. There is no significant division between us and other people, because our basic natures are the same. If we wish to ensure everyone’s peace and happiness we need to cultivate a healthy respect for the diversity of our peoples and cultures, founded on an understanding of this fundamental sameness of all human beings ".

The important thing is education based on philsophical principles which coincide with natural biological principles of complete human development... 'holistic education'.

It is tragic for us that we don't understand our own nature. Fully 'human' is divine. We need to trust our own humanity and offer our children education based on respect for their human need to grow in conditions of freedom to grow (psychologiclly and therefore spiritually) through meaningful learning. (www.HolisticEducator.com

The completely developed human being is morally conscious or 'divine' and lives through values of truth, justice, love and compassion. We are a social species and our spirituality (divinity) is a specialized biological characteristic which ensures the creative socialization we depand on for survival.

We need education which cultivates critical thinking of natural intelligence... holistic education.

Human spirituality or 'divinity' is what makes us human. We are a social species which depends on spirituality for our socialization and survival. Peace is human, war is not.

Real democracy depends on education based on respect for human nature and the human potential of each human individual for self-empowerment i.e. 'democratic education’.

We are a social species and our potential for morality is a product of evolution through natural selection of characteristics which increase our chances for survival. Morality is a function of human moral development -development of moral consciousness or 'conscience'. The completely developed conscience is what guides us to distinguish between what is good and adptive or 'right' and what is bad or non-adaptive or 'wrong'. It is not religion which makes people moral. Religious doctrine and dogma can in fact inhibit natural moral development. The mind must be free and open in order to develop properly. What makes people moral is their own personal development. There are many resources on the subject.

Thank-you. Knowledge with little or no understanding can be lethal. Knowledge as information must be perceived from the perspective of a consciousness level which is high enough to yield interpretation with real understanding. That is why human psychological development is so important. So wisdom depends on complete humanization.

People need to be responsible to themselves, educate themselves and not comply with the system.

Promote education which cultivates children's potential for natural creative intelligence because it respects their instinctive desire to know the truth or 'curiosity'.

The problem is arrested human development at ‘ego’ level of human development or ‘humanisation’. The egocentric perspective of oneself, of others and of the world is what leads to the inability to resolve our human problems. The most important thing in the continued evolution of the human species, a social species, is relationship… with oneself, with other people including children and with the world. Authentic relationship (spiritual) with oneself and others is based on the understanding, respect and union with the true nature (essence) of the human personality or ‘human nature’. What follows connection with one’s own humanity and that of others is authentic relationship with the world and a holistic perspective which enables us to identify and then resolve the causes for our human problems.

The problem is usually, if not always, arrested personal development whichever religion one subscribes to. Immaturity leads to misunderstanding of basic truths, however they are communicated. We are all the same and need to understand the dangers of any form of social conditioning.

Human stupidity is nurtured through misdirected education. The potential for human intelligence is cultivated with education which is intelligent if it is based on universal laws of human development... 'holistic education'.

With your labour of love, you exemplify the moral courage and creative intelligence which the world needs.

To create a life doesn't necessarily need a lot of money. There is so much to

learn and so much to contribute.

The problem is the 'versus'. The healthy ego or 'self' is in alignment with the spiritual self or Self'. The unhealthy ego is not and continues to defend itself and that is why it creates problems.

We need education which allows for the human right to cultivate moral consciousness required for intelligent decision making and effective adaptation to a changing social environment.

'God' is a word. Define it and then ask the question. If the word 'God' refers to a supreme being which is external to our nature, then we can well do without. But if 'God' refers to the highest level of human consciousness then 'God' can be substituted by 'god consciousness' which we cannot do without.
Ethics is a function of personal spiritual development, no matter which religion, if any, that one subscribes to.

So offer children an education which is based on this natural intelligent philosophy...(the meaning of life is finding your gift; the purpose of life to give it away) an education which enables them to live up to their potential and find that gift which they can give to their world. (Education for complete human development or 'holistic education'...)

The value of competition is exaggerated and misplaced. It should not apply to children's education. Each child has the right to develop completely. Children are the future and our species survival depends on 'right' education. UBUNTU means I AM BECAUSE WE ARE )

Look at the issue from the perspective of biology. The spiritual dimension of the human personality or 'human nature' is that of moral conscience or 'conscience'. 'Being spiritual' is having a fully developed human conscience. Development of conscience is a function of moral development or 'spiritual development' and spirituality is a function of free morality or 'freedom of conscience'. It is social conditioning of dogma, beliefs etc. which is responsible for the inhibition of spiritual development so that often people who adhere to dogma of whatever 'religion are not themselves moral. Each person is responsible for their own spiritual development. Spirituality as developed conscience is the biological specialization required for adaptive socialization and hence for preservation of personal integrity and preservation of the human species as a social species.

The word 'education' must be defined. So-called 'education' as social conditioning is dangerous because it educates for the purpose of control.

Common sense is natural intelligence which is lost as children become socially conditioned and stop thinking for themselves. The problem is misdirected education. We need education for complete human development i.e 'holistic education'.

The problem is arrested human development. We have to grow up completely as a species. This means we must offer our children an education (includes upbringing) which facilitates their complete human development i.e. 'holistic education'.

The dangerous repercussions of ignorance... It is important to offer our children an education which stimulates curiosity, fosters understanding and cultivates creative intelligencei.e. education for the personality as a whole or ‘holistic education’.

Girls are human beings and the 'right' education (not social conditioning) is a human right (Universal Declaration of Human Rights article 26 paragraph 2).

For sustainable enlightenment we need to offer our children education which enables them to foster their own complete psychological development so they become enlightened beings living up to their full human potential.

Many people are so imprisoned in their minds that the beauty of nature does not really exist for them. They might say, ‘What a pretty flower,’ but that’s just a mechanical mental labeling. Because they are not still, not present, they don’t truly see the flower, don’t feel it’s essence, it’s holiness—just as they don’t know themselves, don’t feel their own essence, their own holiness." Eckhart Tolle

..."Invest in education"...  Investing in the traditional ways creates more problems. Along with financial investment there should be serious consideration of  change in philosophical framework of the educational process... change more appropriate to the needs of people living in today's world and more appropriate to the needs of children who must prepare for their needs in tomorrows world. People before financial interests...

There should be a conversation about the problem of human population growth. There must be more intelligent and therefore more effective ways to deal with the problem than by using unacceptable means chemtrails, deadly vaccines etc.… My question is… Isn't it the rich bankers of the global cabal who create the conditions of poverty which are responsible for overpopulation in given parts of the world? If so then wouldn't it make sense to alleviate the poverty by making changes to remove the injustices of an oppressive banking system? I would be interested to know if such a conversation is taking place.

Let's educate our children for the self-empowerment they need to develop their full human potential.

The problem is moral poverty. We need to educate for moral intelligence.

As in the case of all other media, including money as the medium of exchange, whether it makes one smarter or not depends how one uses the medium.

So-called 'freedom' based on lies is not true freedom. Only proper understanding of the truth makes for real freedom. Support Wikileaks...

So-called ‘freedom’ based on lies is not true freedom. Only the truth makes for true freedom.

It is Important To follow the revolution in education which is necessary for change in the right direction... . We must press for a change away from education for the cultivation of intelligence without conscience or 'mechanical intelligence' which is at the root of destructive policies and towards education for the cultivation of moral intelligence or 'creative intelligence' which is required for creative and therefore adaptive policies. Our species survival depends on it.

The problem is inability to see the big picture... mismanagement of resources is the result.

Freedom means just that... taking responsibility for what you experience in life.

That is the natural humanitarian impulse. We are a social species. We are so conditioned to thinking that greed and selfishness is 'normal' we forget that loving-kindness is our true nature.

It is arrested human development and the resulting immorality which is going to bring about our downfall. Our species survival depends on human morality. We need to educate ourselves and our children to become the fully humanized and therefore moral beings which is what we are in essence. See 'holistic education'.

We need to educate ourselves and our children to become the fully humanized and therefore moral beings which is what we are in essence. See 'holistic education'.

We can all be critical thinkers if as children we are offered an education which allows us to develop our natural creative intelligence i.e. 'holistic education'.

We need a person-centered education programwhich gives children the freedom to grow through meaningful learning so that when they are adult they will have no fear, they will trust themselves and they will live to their full potential. (See 'holistic education')

If human population growth is a problem, there should be a conversation about that too.To deal with the problem by using using deadly vaccines is to commit genocide and therefore unacceptable. There must be more intelligent and therefore more effective ways. My question might be ... Isn't it the rich bankers of the global cabal who create the conditions of poverty which are responsible for overpopulation in given parts of the world? If so then wouldn't it make more sense to alleviate the poverty by making changes to remove the injustices of an oppressive banking system? (Facebook comment "wisdom comes from living) Depends how one lives. Wisdom comes from authentic living. At the same time authentic living is living with wisdom.

People must educate themselves if they have cultivated a natural and normal sense of responsibility to themselves for their own health i.e. 'health-care'. The term has been hijacked by the medical industry.

It is important to understand how the religion of authentic Judaism has been hijacked by the secular Zionist movement which is a political ideology. It is worthwhile to take the time to do the research...

What is the true meaning of 'freedom’? The word ‘freedom’ is often used without much thought to its real meaning. There are two kinds of freedom: one is freedom of the outer aspect of life so freedom of choice and freedom of action or ‘outer freedom’; the other is freedom of the inner aspect of life - so freedom of freedom to think and freedom to decide or ‘inner freedom’. Inner freedom can be likened to the German 'freiheit' which refers to the mental condition of acting from inner harmony and conviction of moral consciousness or ‘conscience'. Moral ideas of inner freedom are translated into the moral actions of outer freedom. The result is responsible freedom or 'true freedom'. True freedom is moral freedom. Moral freedom of a developed conscience is foundational to democratic thinking, understanding and peace. These are the aims of freedom in education. Freedom in education is freedom for self-empowerment, freedom for self-determination, freedom to think, freedom to learn, freedom to create and produce, freedom to engage in work which is meaningful, mature freedom, moral freedom, spiritual freedom, freedom to develop one’s personality in the construction of the human conscience. Free thinking scientist and humanist Dr. Albert Einstein expressed it thus: "Everything that is really great and inspiring is created by the individual who can labour in freedom."

US calls Wikileaks ‘enemy of the state’… comment… There is really no need to invent enemies. It only creates problems and misery. This is a psychological issue. It is better not to ask "Who is the enemy?". Instead ask "Who am I?" If you (as your ego-self or 'ego') are the enemy of your true self (as your authentic self or 'Self') then you do not incorporate the shadow dimension of your personality but instead you project it onto an external object and call it the 'enemy'. Seeing enemies outside is a sure indication of psychological inner conflict.

Not to oversimplify... not to "throw out the baby with the bath water"! The problem is not religion per se (from Latin 'religiare' to re connect with the higher self). The problem is created when development of moral consciousness (conscience or 'spirit') is arrested. With inhibition of human moral or 'spiritual' development the result is limited cognition which leads to misinterpretation of religious truths. Indoctrination practices of authoritarian education inhibit development of moral intelligence which is required for a proper understanding of the teachings of the founders of any religion. We need education, whether in the context or 'religion' or not, which allow for freedom to think intelligently for oneself. Religion should be a personal matter of choice made on the basis of reflection of the higher human values of truth, justice, compassion etc. ...the' metavalues' of Abraham Maslow). All this is why we need education which gives children the right to freedom of learning which is meaningful because it engages complete psychological (moral or 'spiritual' development.) Our human problems result from lack of developed conscience. We are doomed as a species if we do not educate our children in a way which allows them to fully develop the conscience which they need to solve the problems of the future.

To keep up with the spread of rise of human consciousness we need to press for appropriate change in the education we offer our children. Stop the indoctrination in schools and allow children the freedom to develop themselves completely and thus to cultivate their potential for creative intelligence... i.e.'holistic education'.

Morality is a function of the complete development of moral consciousness or 'conscience'. The human conscience is a biological mechanism of adaptation to changing social conditions. As a social animal we depend on it for our survival.

The technology of facebook is vastly important as a contribution because peace depends on mutual understanding.

Peace is much more than the absence of violence. Peace is the sanity of social responsibility which results from freedom with conscience or 'responsible freedom'. Peace is essential for the continued survival of our species.

World without rulers requires a humanized world citizenry which lives by the higher human values. It is time to press for education based on trust of human potential and respect for natural laws of complete human psychological development. We are a moral species and human development is a function of moral development... development of moral consciousness or 'morality', development of 'conscience' or 'spirit' ... so moral or 'spiritual' development. Each person (whatever their affiliation) is instinctively responsible to themselves for their own spiritual or 'personal' development. Inhibition of spiritual development is the result of indoctrination. So take indoctrination out of the religions, out of education, politics, science etc. and allow our children (the future of humanity) the freedom to be responsible to themselves and develop into fully HUMAN human beings. We need education which engages personal development through learning experience. This is education for development of the person as a whole or 'holistic education'. Holistic education is peace education. Peace is love in its broadest sense.

The illusion of knowledge is even more dangerous than ignorance because it is not recognized as ignorance.

Our species survival depends on the full humanisation of the individual and of the society. To be fully human we must be 'inwardly free'... free from social conditioning which creates fear and inner conflict, free from egocentric wishes and desires preventing the perception of the holistic reality which extends beyond the limits of the ego-self or 'ego'. We must cultivate our greater spiritual self... our essence or 'Self'. Cultivation of human spirituality is prerequisite to the humane and intelligent resolution of our practical and philosophical human problems. To resolve our problems we must be free to think for ourselves... 'freedom of conscience'. We must open our minds, we must trust our human personality or 'human nature' and we must offer our children an education based on that trust.

There is real hope when people subscribe to education as freedom to grow through learning, education which engages personal development, education for development of the human potential for creative intelligence and excellence i.e 'holistic education'.

The world needs to educate children to cultivate their own natural creative intelligence so that they grow up thinking for themselves and respecting other people's humanity.

Education and life are interchangeable terms; trust yourself to trust children to trust themselves; honour your intuitive ninstincts, understand that the rational mind is a faithful servant of imagination (Einstein); lov,ng means setting free; teaching is who you are being each moment; emotion is the physical translation of your state of alignment with your true self; deeply accept and respect yourself; live in love with life, with passions and dreams;

Quality education is not a matter of imparting human values but of allowing children the freedom to become mature people who live by those values. (wwwHolisticEducator.com)

In truth the issue is the problem of lack of education based on the principles of human rights to conditions required for complete human development... Declaration of Human Rights article 26 paragaph 2. That is education with integrity

Julian Assange represents the best of truthful journalists and is being harassed because the lovers of power are afraid of the power of love. In the political arena they are afraid of truth-telling because they do not understand and the distorted thinking which arises from their misperception causes them to feel threatened. We all need to listen to our rational conscience and understand that it is the truth which sets us free. We need the truth in order to evaluate correctly our human problem situations and to apply our natural moral intelligence and wisdom in order to resolve them in a way which is creative and therefore adaptive. Julian is a highly intelligent person in the real sense of the word and we need him to continue his excellent work.

We must not let him be unjustly railroaded but must stand up with him as an example for everyone's right to reach their human potential for justice, truth and peace. (www.HolisticEducator.com)

The problem is that the original meanings of organized religions are misunderstood and misrepresented. The word 'religion' (Latin 'religiare' to bind as 'connect.') It is time to reevaluate the religions and to recognize that we are indeed connected with each other... we all share the same human aspirations for truth, justice and love.

Kindness is the highest form of wisdom when the kind act emerges from the higher transpersonal levels of consciousness and not from the lower egocentric levels of personal desires.

The word 'religion' is derived from Latin 'religiare' to bind as 'connect'. ... to connect with one's essence or 'spirit'. So-called 'God' is human divinity, god consciousness or the god-self. Jesus tried to explain this. All the confusion, misinterpretation and misunderstanding comes from ignorance of the nature of the human personality or 'human nature'.

Sustainability depends on education based on natural principles of human development.

The aim of education is the cultivation of intelligence as a function of moral or 'spiritual' development i.e. 'creative intelligence'. Consequently

“…true coming together of East and West is indeed a real and extraordinary possibility, and a possibility upon which the future of humanity now depends.” Ken wilber
What is ignorance?
Ignorance breeds fear because the lack of knowledge and understanding makes it impossible to adapt intelligently to a given social situation. The fear naturally translates to hatred then to conflict and war. The most dangerous kind ignorance is ignorance of the nature of human nature.

Another relevant quote by Confucius is “Ignorance is the night of the mind, but a night without moon and star.” (text I saw on facebook page  Knowledge is Power)

Meaning of ‘survival of the fittest’ is “the best adapted to changing conditions”.

Power of human emotion as spirituality is personal power of moral responsibility or 'self-empowerment'...

National referendums by popular vote will work only if the citizens of the country are properly educated, that is completely developed psychologically so 'mature'.  Maturity is the basis for true freedom and democracy and depends on democratic education for cultivation of morally responsible intelligence or  'creative intelligence' …

These power freaks (control freaks) are inhuman. We can turn this around if we have education which is based on trust of human nature and dedication to fulfillment of human potential and human empowerment...
The future is children. We all need to press for a meaningful education which enables them to develop their full potential... education for development of the personality as a whole or 'holistic education'.
“Challenge fear when you recognize it in yourself (such as anger, judgment, jealousy, and vengefulness) by not acting on it.  Cultivate love when you recognize it in yourself (such as patience, caring, gratitude, appreciation, and contentment) by acting on it.  Eventually love will fill your awareness more, and fear will control you less.  This is cleaning your house. “  (Gary Zukav Seat of the Soul Institute Oregonà

Victoria gives us hope for the future. People committing the fraud she talks about tend to underestimate people's intelligence. Never underestimate the intelligence of the young. All children must be given the appropriate conditions of freedom to grow through learning... the key is intrinsic motivation

Never underestimate the intelligence of the young. All children must be given the appropriate conditions of freedom to grow through learning. The key is intrinsic motivation.

A society of open minds depends on education which provides the right conditions of freedom which children need to grow through learning which opens their minds i.e. education for complete development or 'holistic education'....

"Most in this world prefer to look outward for divine wisdom." Look within instead!

Dalai Lama receives Templeton Prize for his contribution to humankind of the "benefits of discoveries that illuminate spiritual questions..."

With true enlightenment, we can make morally intelligent and therefore responsible choices. It is the unenlightened who are fearful of the power we have to act in everyone's interest. We need not be afraid of them any more. We must trust ourselves and each other.

·

Always observe and learn to keep the positive attitude.

This means education which offers the conditiojns of freedom and respect for their innate intelligence and which cultivates their potential for growth to maturity. The problem is that people dAlways observe and learn to keep the positive attitude.on't trust human nature and so they think they have to make rules.  Institute of Complex Systems, University of Vienna

The practice of patience protects us from losing our composure. In doing that it enables us to exercise discernment, even in the heat of difficult situations. It gives us inner space. And within that space we gain a degree of self-control, which allows us to respond to situations in an appropriate and compassionate manner rather than being driven by our anger and irritation.” (Dalai Lama Facebook)

We can do meditation in pyramid.Meditation done inside a pyramid, or underneath a pyramid, is called as Pyramid Meditation. Many people experience feelings ranging from calmness to extreme euphoria during their meditation sessions inside the pyramids.
Most people who have experimented with Pyramid Meditation, describe themselves as experiencing a total relaxation of their body, followed by the shutting out of unnecessary external stimuli and irrelevant thoughts and finally achieving an altered state of consciousness which allows them to concentrate on deeper inner levels.
Pyramids provide most effective high-energy environments for beginners of meditation. Pyramids help to reduce the level of stress and tension in the physical body.Meditation done inside a Pyramid is thrice more powerful!
Please consider the below points:-
1)Prayer is like an out-post. Meditation is like the central headquarters. Go for the central headquarters… not for the out-post.
2)Let's remember that prayer is not meditation; and meditation is not prayer. They are as distant to each other as the North Pole is to the South Pole.
3)Meditation gives success in life, efficiency in life, fulfillment in life, vibrance in life, peace in life, and harmony in life!
4)The moment we become masters of meditation, life becomes such a continuous joy, such a continuous celebration! All ill-health disappears! We become natural leaders of people around. We become natural friends of everybody and every being !

DALAI LAMA’S WORDS  However capable and skillful an individual may be, left alone, he or she will not survive. When we are sick or very young or very old, we must depend on the support of others. There is no significant division between us and other people, because our basic natures are the same. If we wish to ensure everyone’s peace and happiness we need to cultivate a healthy respect for the diversity of our peoples and cultures, founded on an understanding of this fundamental sameness of all human beings “.

There is so much to learn and so much to contribute.

But if 'God' refers to the highest level of human consciousness then 'God' can be substituted  by 'god consciousness' which we cannot do without

(UBUNTU means I AM BECAUSE WE ARE )

The 'right' education (not social conditioning) is a human right (Universal Declaration of Human Rights article 26 paragraph 2).

Because they are not still, not present, they don’t truly see the flower, don’t feel it’s essence, it’s holiness—just as they don’t know themselves, don’t feel their own essence, their own holiness.” Eckhart Tolle

..."Invest in education"...

If so then wouldn't it make sense to alleviate the poverty by making changes to remove the injustices of an oppressive banking system

There is real hope when people subscribe to education as freedom to grow through learning… education which engages personal development… education for development of the human potential for intelligenceand excellence.... 'holistic education'.

SILVA METHOD ° put mind anD body in a state conducive to healing ° melt away stress and calm the mind ° reprogram the mind, eliminate unhealthy habits° transform negative thought patterns into positive ones… reap the rewards of a positive mindset.°  use the art of creative visualisation to set health-related goals

The world needs to educate children to cultivate their own natural creative intelligence so that they grow up thinking for themselves and respecting other people's humanity.

Education and life are interchangeable terms; trust yourself to trust children to trust themselves; honour your intuitive ninstincts, understand that the rational mind is a faithful servant of imagination (Einstein); lov,ng means setting free; teaching is who you are being each moment; emotion is the physical translation of your state of alignment with your true self; deeply accept and respect yourself; live in love with life, with passions and dreams; ‘being rich’ is being satisfied with what you have no matter how little it is.

aim of yoga(union) is to unite the thinking mind with its source in pure awareness… gaps between thoughts.

Metta Center for Non-Violence Education We need politics of meaning to replace politics of fear…. The (essential )Self desires only truth, thinks only what is real… Hinduism: City of Brahman is the human person within nspace must be fulfilled and manifest tgheir fulfillment…

Status Anxiety by Alain de Botton: people want respectful attention… sympathy (compassion) kindness, approval or LOVE. Attraction to status symbols has to do with wanting to be valued. Emotionally deprived people want status symbols. Shopenhauer-don’t overrate other people’s opinions. Marx coined term, ‘ideology’ for ideals of the ruling class. Thomas Jefferson ‘meritocracy’. Marcus Aurelius Meditations.  Lion and the Unicorn of George Orwell. Status ideals are manmade  and can be changed. A person who lives in independence and freedom is committed to their own values.

God is the silent space of pure consciousness; essential core (divinity) of human nature

MYSTICISM and personal development: Islamic mysticism is sufism; enlightened consciousness or ‘enlightenment’; mystical struggle- advanced personality development; personality disintegration is prerequisite to reintegration at a more mature level of functioning; the mystic lives at different levels of experience from other people - at levels of union with ‘ultimate reality’;

Quality education is not a matter of imparting human values but of allowing children the freedom to become mature people who live by those values

Julian Assange represents the best of truthful jpurnalists and is being harassed because the cowards amongst us are afraid of the power of truthtelling. We all need to listen to our rational  conscience in the resolution of our human problems. He is a highly intelligent person in the real sense of the word and we need him to continue his excellent work. We must not let him be unjustly railroaded but must stand up with him for everyone's right to reach their human potential for justice, truth and peace.    ...of truth-telling because they do no understand and therefore feel threatened. We must not let him be unjustly railroaded but must stand up with him for everyone's right to reach their human potential for justice, truth and peace. Julian Assange is an extremely important asset to our human community which is our world.

Consequently
the transpersonal vision is vital to intelligent education for human development and s urvival of the human species.
